Tony

I heard a loud yell from Y/n's room.

"Y/N'S GONE!"

Shit. I ran towards her room, where Peter was stood. The few things she had brought were gone. Wanda, Natasha, Bruce and Sam arrived a few moments later.

"What happened?" Natasha demanded.

"I-I don't know! I just came in here and she was gone!" Peter replied, trying to keep himself together.

I put my arm around Peter's shoulders, saying, "We'll find her."

"We need her to take down HYDRA," Natasha put in bluntly.

"Nat!" Wanda cried, turning to the redhead.

"What? It's true, isn't it?" Natasha replied.

"She's not a tool that we just use!" Wanda argued, getting more frustrated with the assassin.

"But why else was she here?" Natasha asked again, her cold green stare fixated on Wanda.

"Because she was barely able to afford her apartment!" Wanda yelled.

"Hey, hey, girls, calm down," I tried to calm them down, but both of them turned on me immediately.

Natasha slapped me across my face whilst Wanda shouted something.

"God, you were both yelling at each other a moment ago," I murmured.

I'll never understand these two.

"Wanda's right though, we do need to find her," Sam interjected. "We don't know who out there wants her dead, or worse."

Sam's wise words seemed to calm everyone down.

"I'll ask Fury to send out a scout team," Natasha offered.

I nodded, and she disappeared.

"Did anyone put a tracker on her, just in case?" Sam asked.

Both me and Bruce shook our heads.

"I'll check her search history and what websites she's visited. It might give us a clue as to where she is. If not where, why she left," I said. "Bruce, can you run tests on her fingerprint?"

Bruce nodded, then left the room to get some equipment. I went over to Peter, who was clearly distraught.

"She just... left, Mr Stark... She didn't say goodbye, or leave any trace..." he murmured through tears.

"Clearly she has somewhere better to be," I told him. "You know what Hybrids are like."

"But I don't, do I?" Peter snapped, getting frustrated. "I don't know what the sterotypical Hybrid is. I only know Y/n. A human being. She might be able to turn into a wolf, but who cares? She's still human! Wanda's magic doesn't mean she isn't human! Steve's syrum doesn't make him inhuman! Natasha's past doesn't make her any less of a human!"

Peter was now shouting, trying to get a point across to me. I had to be honest and say, "She's too fixated on this HYDRA thing to care about anything or anyone else right now."

"She's saving them all! She's saving every tortured, experimented on Hybrid out there! She was doing that since before I fucked up her mission!" Peter retorted.

I stayed silent this time. Peter sighed with anger and stormed out, barely paying any attention to Bruce, who'd returned with a couple of gadgets.

"Good luck," I told him, before leaving after Peter.

"Okay..." he muttered, very confused.

Peter

Why didn't he understand?! Why didn't he just accept that she's human?! Whatever happened in the training room, or in her past didn't matter right now! Finding Y/n was all that mattered, and Tony just had excuse after excuse after excuse! I knew Y/n didn't just leave for no reason. Maybe she felt like we hated her? Maybe she wanted to go somewhere she didn't feel alone. Her apartment? Of course! I grabbed my coat as the sky was darkening, and ran downstairs. I bumped into Clint on the way.

"Woah, where are you going to fast?" he asked, putting his arm out to stop me.

"Finding Y/n," I replied, noticing that he was bruised.

After a moment's contemplation, he decided, "I'm coming with."

"Alright, be quick," I pleaded.

Clint nodded and went to his room to suit up. I waited anxiously for a minute, until he came back downstairs with his bow and arrows.

"Let's go," I said.

We left the compound and took the car to Y/n's apartment.

Y/n

I heard car doors slam outside. Going to the window, I saw Clint and Peter. My heart stopped beating. Bloody hell, can't I be left alone? I quickly grabbed my unpacked bag and went to the window. I was on the 7th floor and it was a flat sided building. If I jumped I'd probably break my legs, but I could use my claws for grip. I heard two people coming up the stairs.

"She has to be here, she doesn't have anywhere else to go," Peter's muffled voice said from near my door.

Just go! I slung my bag over my shoulder so it was cross body. Unsheathing my claws, I clambered out the window. Hooking my claws into the soft stone of the apartment block, I skidded down until I landed on my feet on top of the bin. Clint's head stuck out of the window and in the darkness, I pressed myself against the wall. Please, please, go away. I don't want to hurt anyone again! I sighed with relief when Clint withdrew his head again, then ran into the darkness. I pulled out my phone and called Kat.

"Hey, Kat?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I call in a favour?"
