I watched as Aliana's group attacked the super-Hybrid. One from its left side attacked it. It spun around, jaws snapping, but just as it opened its mouth, Aliana (who was on its right) attacked it. The super-Hybrid attacked spun around, getting agitated. Eventually, when it had turned to face Aliana's group, I knew it was our cue to attack. Glancing over at Y/n, I saw her nod her head, her blue eyes glowing dangerously. She attacked, sinking teeth into its flesh. The attack only lasted a second, as Y/n drew back as quickly as she went in. The super-Hybrid spun around, snarling viciously. Your turn. If I was in my human form, I would've grinned. Instead however, I leapt towards it, feeling my paws leave the freezing cold snow. As I landed, I sunk my front teeth into the super-Hybrid's hind leg. During the quick second I was there, I tasted blood drip into my mouth. As the super-Hybrid screeched and spun around, I leapt back, stumbling over the snow. Regaining my balance, I saw Sylvia had attacked it. When she withdrew, I nodded to her with gratitude.

As I flew around, blasting down the last HYDRA agents, I saw the Hybrids surrounding the super-Hybrid.

"Guys, I think the wolves are handling the weird wolf," I spoke into my comm.

I heard a scoff and a, "I don't think the Hybrids would appreciate that label," from Natasha, along with gunshots and fighting noises from her end.

"Alright Russian spy," I replied, flying in front of a bullet that was about to hit Clint.

The bullet bounced off of my suit.

"Thanks," he thanked me.

"No problem Barton."

Looking over at the doors of the base, I saw another wave of soldiers and agents, along with some tanks.

"I thought Barton and Capsicle killed that lot inside the facility?" I asked, genuinely confused as to how many fighters HYDRA actually had. "They seem to be multiplying."

"We did," Steve's voice came through comms for the first time this whole battle. "We scouted the entire base and killed everyone we found."

"Unless there was a secret door neither of you noticed," Bucky suggested. "There seem to be a lot of those in HYDRA."

"Steve, I'll head in and check," Natasha offered. "Could someone come with me?"

"Rhodey, Bucky, go with Romanoff," Steve replied. "Be careful."

I shot at the agent about to shoot Natasha. Honestly, for a super assassin she needs to be just a little more careful.

"Romanoff, meet us at the entrance," Rhodey told Nat.

"On it," she replied, skillfully wrapping her legs around an agent's neck and hitting him with her widow's bites.

Okay, I'll take it back. She's just making them think they're winning. It's not even a bad tactic. Once she took down the agents she was fighting, she took off to go find Rhodey and Bucky. I flew towards the tanks and saw Hulk emerge, smashing into them with ease. Then I saw Thor.

"For fuck's sake, I thought I told Thor to stay at the Quinjet?" I growled.

"Language!" I heard Steve's voice say.

Nobody spoke for a few moments, until we heard Bucky say through comms, "We've found the entrance the agents are coming-"

Silence.

"Barnes?" I asked. "Barnes, what happened?"

"Bucky?" Steve asked.

"What's going on?" Clint demanded. "Natasha? Rhodey? Bucky?"

Shit. I flew towards where I last saw the three disappear into the facility.

"Maximoff, do you perhaps happen to have the ability to locate people?" I asked.

"That's something I don't have Stark," Wanda replied.

"Great," I sarcastically said.

"I would help you find them, but I'm kind of preoccupied."

"Just focus on your fight, I'll find them."

My heart was racing. I had to find them. Both Natasha and Rhodey were close friends to me, and even Bucky to an extent was a treasured ally. Not close enough to be called a friend. He wasn't friends with anyone except Bucky, Sam and Nat. The passages were dark, so I used the torch on my suit to try to find my way. I stayed alert in this musty darkness for any HYDRA soldiers that could be running towards me. As I walked down the endless labyrinth of corridors, I heard a buzzing from the comms. The signal must either be failing, or the other three's signal was coming into range.

"Can anyone hear me?" I asked over the buzzing.

"St- can- ear- s-?" I heard the voice of Rhodey, struggling due to the crappy signal.

"Rhodey?" I demanded. "What's happening?"

"Na- sha's been- ucky's ki- lling the ag- s, we nee- ackup."

"Rhodey, signal's bad," I said. "What happened to Romanoff?"

"Sh- bullet," I heard.

I felt my heart leap as I ran down the corridors. I could hear my signal getting better with every stride, until I pushed open a door and saw a lot of HYDRA agents and soldiers on the floor. Not far off, I saw Bucky holding a familiar lean figure in his lap. I ran over and saw Natasha with blood leaking from her side. Come on Nat. You're strong, you'll be fine.

"We need to get her to the Quinjet," I told Bucky directly. "Where's Rhodey?"

"Over there," Bucky pointed his metal arm to where Rhodey was walking towards us with some rags.

He passed them to Bucky, who carefully pressed them against Nat's wound. When the rags were secure over the wound, he carried her bridal-style in his arms. As we reached the exit, I heard over comms, "Maximoff and Barton are down."

Oh no.
