I opened my eyes, squinting as they got used to the light. My heart began to beat quickly as I didn't know where I was. Where am I? Where's Peter? I stumbled to my feet as I took in my surroundings. I was in a glass cell with a bed on one side.

"Peter?" I called out, unsheathing my claws anxiously.

"I'd put those away if I were you," I heard a hard voice say from behind me.

I spun around. On the other side of the glass was a red-haired woman. She was stood with her arms crossed, green eyes glinting. I kept my claws unsheathed.

"I won't ask you again," she warned.

I just stood and glared at the woman.

"Where am I?" I demanded.

The woman went over to a chair and sat down.

"How about we play a little game?" she asked.

Confused, I just blinked, sheathing my claws.

"A question for a question."

"Alright," I replied uncertainly, sitting down on the bed.

"You first," the woman offered.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Natasha Romanoff," she introduced. "My turn. What did you want with Peter?"

Wow, straight to the big guns.

"To keep him safe," I said honestly. "I went after a HYDRA agent. Peter saw me and stopped me, allowing the agent to get away. HYDRA knew that Spiderman was hanging around, so I did the only thing that would keep things quiet, took him into my apartment."

"Why-" Natasha began, but I cut her off with a, "My turn, remember?"

She closed her mouth, sending me a cold stare.

"What do you want from me?" I asked.

Natasha hesitated before answering. Narrowing my eyes, I watched her body language closely. I couldn't tell much, but a brief hand movement told me that she was secretly anxious.

"We want your help taking down HYDRA. Peter told us why you're after them," Natasha replied. "And we went through what was on your desk."

I glared at Natasha, muttering, "Idiots."

"What are HYDRA's plans?" Natasha asked.

I unsheathed my claws again.

"I don't need to answer that!" I snapped, standing up and going over to the glass.

Natasha smirked.

"You're the one trapped in a glass cell."

I scoffed.

"Yeah, not great if you're claustrophobic."

"You know, Loki's been in that cell," Natasha said with a smug look, before turning and leaving.

I banged my fist against the glass, before raking my claws down it, leaving marks.

Peter

"Mr Stark, please!" I pleaded, running after him.

"No," he stopped and turned to me. "You're not going to see her."

"Please!" I begged.

"Not until you tell us what she told you," Tony said.

"That's private! I can't tell you what she's been through if she doesn't want me to!" I argued.

"Peter, I'm not having this argument with you! Go home!" Tony snapped, before turning and leaving.

I gritted my teeth, before running back down the corridor. I went down the stairs to where Thor was.

"Thor!" I called.

"Well hello human child," Thor greeted.

"Where's Y/n being kept?" I asked.

"The cells, where else?" he replied, not realising I wasn't supposed to see her.

"Thanks," I thanked him, before running off.

I went down to the cell where Y/n was. I saw her sat in the corner, knees to her chest. I went over to it.

"Y/n!" I said.

She looked up at me, then stood up and came over.

"Y/n, I'm so sorry! I didn't know they'd put you in a cell!" I apologised.

I saw fear in her blue eyes.

"Please, Peter, let me out! I don't want to be experimented on!" she pleaded, putting her hands on the glass.

I knew she was getting flashbacks to HYDRA.

"They wouldn't ever do that!" I assured. "Y/n, I promise."

Y/n seemed to calm down slightly, but I saw her claws sheathe and unsheathe. I went over to the control panel and looked at the buttons.

"Y/n, if I open this, you've got to promise you won't leave. I can come in and comfort you but that's it," I told her.

Y/n nodded quickly. I took a deep breath and opened the door. Y/n backed away a little bit, then I went in. She immediately wrapped her arms around me. I held her close to me, stroking my hand on her head. I took her to the other side of the cell and sat down with her leaning on me.

"I didn't want this to happen..." she whispered. "I only took you with me so you didn't get hurt by HYDRA... not all this complicated crap."

"They won't hurt you. Just tell them what they want to know."

Y/n reached for my hand, so I let her hold it.

"They want to know what happened at HYDRA to you," I finally said.

Y/n looked up at me, whispering, "What?"

"Can I tell them?" I asked.

She sighed, looking away.

"Fine," she agreed reluctantly. "And I'll tell them what they want to know about HYDRA."

Y/n seemed to relax in my company, until I heard a voice say, "Peter! What are you doing?"
