CHAPTER 29

Mary's POV

Pagkatapos namin kumain ay agad akong hinila ni Dwayne papaalis ng dining table at umakyat kami sa 2nd floor ng castle. Pumasok siya bigla sa isang kwarto at marahas niya akong binitawan kaya muntik na akong ma out of balance, buti na lang nakontrol ko pa ang sarili ko kaya hindi ako tuluyang na out of balance.

"Ano ba! Dahan dahan ka naman Dwayne oh, nakakasakit ka na!" Inis kong sabi sa kaniya

"Why you accepted his offer? Are you insane? Do you think its worth it?" Tanong nito and he almost raise his voice on me

"Bakit? Nag react ka ba? Wala ka naman ngang naging sagot nung pumayag ako kaya I thought you will finally let me leave you. Nag hihintay ako sa pag pigil mo sa akin pero wala akong narinig na kahit isang salita galing sayo so, I thought it is okay to you" tugon ko sa kaniya

"You are here to destroy my engagement with Charlotte and you just suddenly agreed to that fucking man!" Pagalit nitong sabi sa akin

"Hoy! For your information, I wasn't aware that your mother's birthday party is also your engagement party. You never mentioned it to me, and now you're shouting at me as if I'm the one who's wrong here. You never told me about ending your engagement with that woman. You never told me that I shouldn't agree with what your grandfather said. So, don't act as if I'm the one to blame!" Pasigaw kong saad sa kaniya

He looks so frustrated right now as if he really don't like to be engage with that woman.

"You're really a gold digger, Mary" he said and it makes my heart hurt.

Aminado akong naging totoo yun sa akin pero wag naman sabihin ng harap harapan. Ang sakit din kaya sa feelings.

"So what? First and foremost, I am here in this kind of place because of you. Every time you want me to do something, you always threaten me and offer a lot of money as compensation just to make me obey you. That's why I've accepted anything you request just for the money even though I don't like doing it. I wasn't like this before, Dwayne. I used to be a woman who couldn't be easily swayed by money. I wasn't easy to talk to and can fight back, but now I've lost everything, I've lost my self-respect, especially in regard to my body. You're the one who has made me like this, Dwayne. Don't you dare forget that." mahabang lintanya ko sa kaniya at agad akong lumabas ng kwarto at padabog na sinarado ang pinto

Aalis na sana ako sa palasyong ito nang biglang humarang sa harapan ko si Charlotte.

"What do you want?" Taas kilay kong sagot

"Know your place, gold digger" she said that makes me want to slap, pull her hair and punch her really hard.

"Know your place as well, Charlotte. Dwayne doesn't even like or love you. You're just forcing yourself into this royal family, especially onto Dwayne. Don't act like that, you're becoming more of a gold digger than I am." I replied to her and rolled my eyes

"I am a daughter of a billionaire family. Of course, I am suitable for Dwayne unlike an orphan like you" she said while giving me an evil vibe.

Oh wow! Nakapag investigate na agad siya sa akin. Alam na agad niya na lumaki ako sa orphanage

"Why does an orphan like me have Dwayne's full attention, while the daughter of a billionaire doesn't?" I frankly asked on her and she was about to slap me but I immediately hold her wrist

"Truth hurts, right? Oh well, I don't really like having his full attention. You can have it, I don't even want it" saad ko at marahas kong binitawan ang kamay niya at nilayasan siya habang siya ay nagulat sa sinabi ko
