CHAPTER 33

3rd Person's POV

"Where are we going next after eating breakfast?" Mary asked, looking into the Grand Duke's eyes.

"The Crown Princess wants me to take you somewhere. She wants you out of the country soon so that Dwayne can focus on his upcoming wedding here next year," he replied.

"Then I'll return to the Philippines to continue my internship and also retrieve my two cats from Dwayne's mansion," she said, bored, while sipping her milkshake.

"Two cats? Should I get them for you from him?" Luke asked, sipping on his coffee.

"Hmm, kung ako ang kukuha ng mga pusa ko kina Dwayne, may chance na mag kita kaming dalawa at yan ang iniiwasan ko. Kung si Luke naman ang kukuha edi mababawasan ang problema ko" saad ni Mary sa kaniyang isipan habang taimtim niyang iniisip ang dapat niyang gawin

"If you could, then yes, I don't want to confront him right now," Luke responded, nodding.

"Before you go back to the Philippines, the Crown Princess requested that I take you to my country. She really wants us to become closer," Luke suddenly said, making Mary raise her right eyebrow.

"Which country are you from again?" she asked.

"Denmark," he replied simply.

"Look, I'm not interested in dating you, Gra-- I mean Luke. The Crown Princess just wants me to have a relationship with you so that I can peacefully leave Dwayne's side. But at this point, I can handle myself--"

Biglang napatigil si Mary sa kaniyang sinasabi dahil hinawakan ni Luke ang kaniyang labi at may tinanggal na icing ng cake mula sa gilid ng labi niya.

"I never said you couldn't handle yourself. She wants me to show you around my country for relaxation before you return to your country." Saad nito kay Mary at napahinga ito ng malalim bago muling nag salita

"Fine, if that's what she wants, then I'll agree, but this will be the last time I do what she wants. My connection to Dwayne and his family has already ended. I don't want to bother them anymore" sagot nito sabay tayo mula sa kaniyang kinauupuan

"When is our flight to Denmark? I want to leave this country now" sabi nito kay Luke

"We can go now. My private plane is already waiting on us right now" he answered and she just nodded

"The Crown Princess really wants to use me to get rid of her by taking her to my country. I really can't understand what's on the Crown Princess's mind," Luke pondered while texting on his phone to get in touch with his butler to inform them that they would be leaving now

"Wait, can you speak tagalog? My english right now is getting terrible as I talk to you" biglang saad ni Mary na nakapag patawa kay Luke

"I can speak a little bit but I can understand you on that language. Its just that my accent is not good and you might laugh at me if I speak to that language now" paliwanag nito at napatawa na mahina si Mary

FAST FORWARD

Mary POV

Nakasakay ako ngayon sa private plane ni Luke at nakaupo ako malapit sa bintana.

I really didn't expect na pupunta ako ng Denmark ngayong araw na ito. Hindi ko na talaga alam kung ano na ba ang pumapasok sa utak ng Crown Princess. Bakit ba ako sasama sa Grand Duke na ito? Ano ba ang gusto niyang mangyari? Gusto niya lang ba ako ireto o may iba pa siyang balak?

Is she really expecting that my relationship with Grand Duke will improve if we spend our time together? Alam ko na ang mangyayari sa akin kung nag kataon na mag katotoo ang gusto niya. Walang tatanggap sa akin. Sa bansa pa nga lang nila, ayaw na nila sa akin, dun pa kaya sa Denmark.
