CHAPTER 84

Mary POV

Dinala ako sa labas ng isang cabin na malapit lang sa tabing dagat habang ang aking dalawang kamay ay nakakadena sa isang kahoy sa parteng taas. Sa totoo lang ay nangangalay na ako sa lagay kong 'to. Kahit nakatapak naman ang dalawa kong paa  sa lapag ay nangangalay ang aking kamay at braso dahil sa pag kakakadena nito

I'm just near the beach where there is a small boat that I can use to escape this island. I don't know why I'm here outside the cabin where the boat I've been targeting is just around the corner. There are many possibilities I can think of that could be the reason why I was brought near the boat. Maybe it was just a trap for me and then the boat turned out to be broken, it just made my hope up

"You're really lucky to have connections with them, they are all going all out just to reach you" biglang salita ng babaeng nakamaskara na ngayon ay pinapalibutan na ng mga armadong lalaki

"Who the hell are you? Why are you torturing me? What have I done to you to make me suffer like this?" seryosong tanong ko habang nangingilid ang luha sa aking mata

Oh god, bakit ako naiiyak? Kung siya man ang mastermind na nag pahamak sa akin ng ilang beses, gusto ko mag tanong para masagot na ang mga tanong sa isipan ko.

"If you had only not come back, I would never have done these things to you. If you had only stayed in the Philippines, none of this would have happened to you," she said to me, making my head spin from what she said

"I don't understand you, what are you talking about? I don't even know you yet you made me like this" sambit ko at umupo lang siya sa isang upuan at nag cross leg pa talaga siya sa harapan ko

"In any minute, they will be here so allow me to tell a fairy tale on you while waiting" she calmly said that makes me listen to her. I believe we can understand each other if I listen to her

"Once upon a time, the daughter of a Grand Duke of the United Kingdom fell in love with the Crown Prince of the country. They first met on her 18th birthday, and her last dance was with the Crown Prince, as planned by her parents. That was the first time she fell in love, to the point that she became obsessed with him. She tried to find her fiancé, and when she found him in the garden, she saw a young woman kissing him, which made her feel enraged. She slapped the girl, but her fiancé slapped her back, making her eyes teary. She learned that her fiancé had a girlfriend from Denmark who was also a Duke's daughter. She didn't believe it at first, but when she saw them kissing, she was hurt to the point that it broke her heart into pieces," she narrated to me while I listened silently, as it feels like it was based on a true story.

"Even though that woman already knew that she was the Crown Prince's fiancé, they still went out secretly, and the woman said she was ready to be the Crown Prince's mistress, which she never approved of. She didn't care if they loved each other, all she wanted was to trap the one she loved so that the Crown Prince would never get away from her. The daughter of the Grand Duke fought back, she did everything she could to make them break up, with the help of the Crown Prince's father."

"Since his father favored her more than the woman from Denmark, he drugged the Crown Prince's wine, and when he was finally resting in his chamber, she entered the room and tried her very best to attract him by wearing a sexy nightdress. While they were making out, he moaned his girlfriend's name, but she endured it just to bear his child. She didn't care if she was having sex with the man who kept repeating someone else's name. Kung ganon ang nangyari sa kanila, bakit pa kailangan mag switch pa ng bata? Bakit pa niya kami pinagpalit nung pekeng Celestine kung masaya na ang buhay niya noon?

"Then why you still switched me with other child?" lakas loob kong tanong at nag lakad siya papunta sa akin at bumulong

"Because she also switched my child to hers and give DNA example to my husband to prove that the child she's holding is his child which is actually mine and give another DNA sample of mine and her own child to prove that my so called child is not matched to his DNA." bulong nito sa akin at halos manlaki ang mata ko sa sinabi niya

"Your fucking mother is quite smart, right? She planned to switch our son and made me look like a liar, using my doctor as her witness, claiming that I switched our child. She bribed my doctor, who helped me give birth, to switch our child without anyone knowing. We gave birth on the same day and at the same time, after all, so it was easy for her to fabricate it." 

"Since that doctor betrayed me, I ordered someone to kill her husband, and we planned to kill their child next if she didn't speak up. A week later, she finally told the truth in front of my family, my husband, and that woman. After that, we conducted another DNA test, and this time, I won. Of course, I was still mad at her for making me look like a liar and no one will get away from me unless I got my revenge. When I heard she married my husband's best friend and gave birth to you, I had someone infiltrate the hospital and switch you with another girl, and that's how I got my perfect revenge on her." She smiled at me and went back to her seat while I was speechless at what she revealed to me.

"I had someone watch over you to make sure that you wouldn't set foot in Denmark. I know about your life in the Philippines, but I never thought that my child, my Dwayne, would bring you to our palace and introduce you as someone he courted for one year, which I never believed since I watched you all the time." she said and now I finally realized who she really is

"So you're the Crown Princess, Elinalisse Margaret Anneliese Glucksburg, Dwayne's mother, right?" sambit ko sa kaniya at kasabay nito ang pag tanggal niya ng maskara na may ngiti sa labi

Bakit siya nakangiti sa akin? I really don't understand her actions
