I can't tear my eyes away from Emily throughout the ceremony as I vaguely listen to the pastor talking next to us

"Now our lovely couple shall say theirs vows to one another in a show of love" The pastor says causing me to tune back in

I look at the pastor who is staring at me causing me to look at Emily as she is looking at me expectingly

I feel my nerves pick up as I look down at Emily and i's hands briefly

"Where do I even start.....I can't think back to a time when I.....felt as strong about someone as I do with you Emily, my whole..life I've been looking for the special one and I never found her till I came here, my love for you has come and hit me like a ton of bricks and i'd let them hit me again if it meant I can stand here and tell you how much I love you...be by your side for all of eternity....be your rock, your safe place, your husband...your best friend...everything about you has enveloped me and made me whole again....and I pray to god himself that I make you as happy as you make me" I say and I hear the guests around us collectively awe

Emily looks at me with the most genuine smile that I've seen in the past few weeks, I let out a deep breath as I feel relief wash over me

"Now Emily....please recite your vows to Kingsley" The pastor says and Emily clears her throat before looking at me with a nervous smile as she looks around

"Hard to beat those vows...but uh....Kingsley...you make me feel a way I haven't felt in so long, you make me feel seen and comfortable....I have been through so many suitors that have made me feel like a tool or a person on a to do list but....you make me feel like I can be myself around you...like I belong....i may be a poet but I am at a loss of words with you....your love is never taken in vain and I appreciate you deeply..more than you will ever know...you've helped and gave me my space but enough love that I can see how much I mean to you.....I couldn't love you more than I do" Emily says and I feel a tear fall from my eye

I feel my heart race at her words as her stare burns into me, I feel her hand wipe my tears away as the guests awe at us once again causing me to let out a laugh

"Now....Kingsley Jonathon Daytona....do you take Emily Dickinson to be your lawfully wedded wife...to have and to hold..to love and cherish...in sickness and in health..for the rest of your life" The pastor says and I smile

"I do...I most definitely do" I say causing the crowd to laugh and Emily does as well

"And do you Emily Dickinson take Kingsley Jonathon Daytona to be your lawfully wedded husband...to have and to hold...to love and cherish, in sickness and in health...for the rest of your life" The pastor says to Emily, I see her eyes look over causing me to do the same and see she's looking at Sue

I feel my heart strings tug slightly as her eyes meet mine again and soften slightly
