Charlotte feels her heart race as she looks at herself in her fatigues, the black coat almost feels a straight jacket but she knows that one day she will be remembered for her duties

In her dream she will be

Emily walks up to her wife who's looking at herself in the mirror near the living room, the Dickinson's decided to send her off respectfully and many came to wish her luck

"Everyone is waiting my love" Emily says tiredly, not having got much sleep after their dance in the fields

Charlotte sighs and look at her wife through the mirror with fear and sorrow flowing through her brown eyes

"Your right...just wish this wasn't a party for my departure but for your poems being published" Charlotte says and Emily sighs and runs her hands over her wife's shoulders

"I'm putting you first.....just like you do to me" Emily says as she turns her wife around to face her

"I love you" Charlotte says and Emily blushes and cups her wife's face, the ring still shining on her ring finger

"I love you too" Emily responds before pulling Charlotte into view of everyone who came, everyone cheers and hugs Charlotte

Games are played and luck is wished, laughs and jokes being told

Charlotte looks around feeling loved by more people than Emily and her mother who she wishes was here

"My love....come here" Emily says causing Charlotte to sigh and walk to the front of the room

She sees everyone gathering around including Sue and Austin who insisted in coming

"What's going on" Charlotte asks looking from everyone to Emily

"Well....we have a surprise for you" Emily says and her wife chuckle

"What would that be my love" Charlotte says sarcastically and Emily laughs and steps back from me, the soldier frowns as Emily points towards the door

Charlotte looks and everyone's departs down the middle to reveal her mother and her family

Charlotte let's out a gasp and feels her heart burst in her chest, her mother  Annabelle smiles as she looks at her daughter with tears in her eyes

"Mama" Charlotte say with tear streaming down her face, she rushes towards her and collapse in her mothers arms with a sob leaving her mouth

"I'm here....I'm here baby...I couldn't miss seeing you on your departure" My mama says as she holds Charlotte close, Charlotte looks behind her mother and sees her grand mother and two men and two woman in their arms

"Nice to meet you...my little....nephew" One of the men says causing Charlotte to smile

She depart from her mother and walk over to her family, they smile at Charlotte happily before the all pull her into a massive hug
