I walk down the stairs of Emily and i's home and to my office, I have a lot of work to do today with Emily's friends and finding places for my mother to reside in the time she takes to restart her life

I sigh as I sit at my desk and see a piece of paper already on the desk along with my envelope that I placed there yesterday morning

"Perfect" I say before sitting down and grabbing my feather and ink, I tab the point of the feather into the ink and begin writing on the paper

Mama....I am home safe with Emily and you are heavy on my mind, I am sending more money for you to help yourself, use this to get a gun from a man named Gregory in belvon , he gave me mine and he is a nice man, just say my name when you see him

I miss you mama even though I am currently writing this a day after I saw you, I must say that I am proud of you too even though I have always had admiration for you, even in times I didn't show or say it

I always prayed that my future wife if I had one, would be the woman you are and I mean that in a non weird way. But I've found that in Emily, I'm falling for her mama and I'm scared but prepared to handle my fear

She knows about my anatomy and I don't have to hide from her which had given me a relief but saying I love her is harder than telling her I am a woman, I need you mama, please guide me

I smile as I finish writing and fold the paper as I take a deep breath and close my eyes, I feel the weight of every that happened yesterday still on my chest

I never wished to be in that situation ever but my mother and I are free and that's all that matters, I put the letter in the envelope before putting some money into it

I lick the seal and walk out of my office, I put the letter in the basket to be sent out before heading to the kitchen, I grab my apron and wash my hands with a sigh then I dry them

"Let's impress some drama queens" I say to myself before getting my bowls and whisks out, I start making some quick chocolate bread before making some homemade chips and a dipping sauce my mother always made

She said she got it from their master's wife who taught her how to cook when she was a teen, the masters wife wasn't that much older than my mother

I sigh as I put the bread in the oven and hear some footsteps behind me, I turn around to see Emily, Austin and Lavinia looking at me shocked

"Wow....it smells amazing in here" Austin says as he looks around the kitchen

"Thank you...Emily are you friends here already" I ask as I remove my apron, revealing my white shirt that's not tied all the way, exposing my chest area but not my wraps
