~Narration~

Love of a featherless bird
Truth buried within the bird
With a flowery demeanor inside
But a hard shell made of the worlds strongest
Changes everything within my heart

Kingsley sighs as Emily helps her out of bed and smiles at her while Emily gets Kingsley to stand up straighter

Kingsley groans in pain as her ribs are not fully healed from the fight along her bruised neck being sore, Emily smiles up at Kingsley as she caresses her wife's back and chest

"Good morning solider" Emily says causing Kingsley to laugh but groan in pain after

"Good morning my favorite poet" Kingsley says sweetly causing Emily to look down with a blush developing

Compliments feeling differently
Reactions changing into flatter
Previous curiosity leaves
Feels of treasure
Thrown in bliss

Emily walks Kingsley to the bathroom and leans her against the wall before walking out to get her clothes

She returns to see Kingsley smiling as she stands up from the wall on her own, Emily looks at her shocked and amused causing Kingsley to laugh

"Thank you Emily" Kingsley says as she takes her clothes from Emily's hands

"Were you...faking that...you can walk and stand on your own" Emily says in a shocked tone

"Yea I faked it....I just wanted to be close to you" Kingsley says and Emily let's out a chuckle before storming out playfully

Kingsley laughs but grabs her side in pain but the smile remains in her face

Hard work in bed
Since the confession
Nothing has been said
Affection has been coming more than usual
I accept it all with open arms
Feeling no pity but love
Love I deserve

Kingsley takes notes on the sheet Edward dropped off for her as well as some of the paper work she has to do, Kingsley insisted to work while injured

Much to the dismay of the Dickinson family

Kingsley looks up briefly from her work and smiles as she sees Emily at her desk writing her poems like always

Kingsley feels her heart swell as her eyes trace Emily's body, she tilts her head as she continues to watch Emily

The poet looks up from her poem she's writing and smiles, she looks over to check on her hus-wife and sees her looking back at her with a loving smile

"Why are you looking at me like that" Emily asks with a smile in her face

"Just admiring the beauty of you...your focus is admirable" Kingsley flirts causing Emily to roll her eyes
