This was a request, it's going to take some time to get off the ground but hopefully it will get there. Another fiction about Johnny moving on with his life after the traumatic past few years. It begins on the recent European Hollywood Vampires tou...
Meg, her little sister Poppy, her brother Dan and his wife Polly all arrived back at Meghan's house on the 2nd of January after their brief visit to South Africa to witness their mother and step father's wedding vow renewal. Overall the trip went well, it was a wonderful experience to see that part of the world but Meg couldn't help but feel that it was all a bit of a farce. Her mother hadn't kept to her wedding vows the first time, and now in her second marriage she was renewing them.
The group piled in and made themselves at home before Meg got angsty. She wanted to see Johnny, due to the time difference and families on both sides being around, they hadn't got to text, talk or call much whilst she had been away. Faking an excuse about work, an hour after arriving home and quickly showering she left her siblings and made the short walk towards his house. She was convinced the children were due to be back at Vanessa's this week so knew she wouldn't be putting Johnny in an awkward position.
The closer she got to the house, the more excited she got to see him. It was crazy, they had only technically been "in a relationship" if you could even call it that for just over a month, and sleeping together for two, but this time it felt different to anything she had ever experienced. It's like he knew her without her having to tell him anything. It was like what you read about in books and watch in movies. He made her laugh, he made her feel safe, but still had this undeniable charm and sexiness that made her feel like the only woman in the world.
She approached the drive and entered through the pedestrian gate, she noted a few cars in the drive that she didn't recognise but people came and went from the house all the time so she didn't question it. She made her way up the few steps flattening her skirt whilst admiring her patterned tights and jumper combo before lifting her hand to knock on the door. As she did the, door flew open and her eyes went wide.
"Oh hello... can I help you?" The brunette tall beauty said. "Ummm erh, I'm looking for Johnny." "Oh he's on a call right now. He shouldn't be long but then again we did have lunch plans but they went out the window you know how he can be. Now I'm hoping to make it to dinner but you never know with him... did you want to wait or shall I take a message?" Meg's eyes widened. Clearly this woman knew Johnny well. Well enough that they had dinner plans. Finding her voice again she managed to stutter "Oh umm no, don't worry I'll catch him another time." Meghan began to turn on the spot when another car pulled into the drive. Travis jumped out. "Hey Megz!! How was your trip?" "Oh good thanks. Yeah just got back today.. I'll see you around Trav." Meg turned to the brunette "bye." She said as she walked back down the drive feeling rather deflated. Who on earth was that woman?
Travis watched as the petite woman left the property. "Did she stay long?" He said to Joelle Richie. She was one of Johnny's legal team from the UK trial, they had a brief fling but it hadn't worked out but had remained friends over the past year or two. "She didn't stay at all. Who is she?" Joelle asked sweetly. "Oh she's Cooper's niece. If you ask me her and Johnny are well suited but don't think much has happened yet." "She seemed sweet. If she's his girl, why didn't she come in?" "Now Joelle I didn't say that did I? I merely said I think they should be together." "Whatever Travis.. now can I interest you in a late lunch, baring in mind Johnny has been on the phone for two hours?" "I'm sorry would love to but I've got a security debrief and then a chic with my name on waiting for me in Malibu." "God you move fast..." "Hey a man has got to do what a man has to do." The pair said chuckling re entering the house.
Meanwhile Meg re entered her home feeling rather down and deflated. Not only had she had to be reunited with her estranged mother in the last week, but she had to witness her be sickly sweet with the step father she could do without and now Johnny apparently was going on dates with other women. She knew she shouldn't be angry. They hadn't ever technically put a label on whatever it was they were doing, and she should have known it would never last but even still.
Poppy came and sat on the couch beside her passing her a glass of wine. "Sooooo Dan and I were thinking.... Why don't we go to the Salsa club?" "What?" "Well he flies home day after tomorrow and seriously when was the last time the Godard siblings were out on the town together?" "Are you sure this isn't just you wanting to go and blaming it on Dan?" "No it was his idea actually.. something about cheering you up!" Poppy said nudging her sister. Meg thought for a while and decided what the hell. Dancing had always helped her set her mind straight. "Sure why not." She giggled. "Great I'm going to call Matt." "Who?" "That guy I met when we went the day before Christmas Eve." "Jesus Poppy.." "What? I'm not marrying him just inviting him out for a few drinks." "Ok ok... where's Dan? What time we heading out?" "That's the spirit."
A few hours later, Meghan was dolled up. Her sister had insisted that she wore her most glam outfit, and although she felt it was a bit much the bubbles they had been sipping whilst getting ready were easing her nerves.

Eventually her brother and his wife arrived in the living room. Her brother looked dapper as always with black trousers, and a shirt open at the collar. Polly looked her usual beautiful self and Poppy arrived looking as if she was about to enter a Salsa competition. "So now we wait for Matt." "What?" Meg asked shocked. "Well he's coming here so we can all go together." "Oh for fuck sake.. I thought I had some time to not be the 5th wheel..." "You're not 5th wheeling when it's siblings what have I told you?" Meg sat on the sofa, and checked her phone for the millionth time. She had hoped to have heard from Johnny but still nothing. She bit her lip before dialling.
"Meg." "Hey!" "What can I do for you?" "Well... Somehow Poppy, has talked us all into going out to the salsa club.. and I didn't know if you fancied it?" "Do I have to dance?" "Not necessarily... you can just keep me company and save me from being a fifth wheel." "Ok.. but first drink is on you." "No problem... and Travis?" "Yes..." "Thank you." "No sweat. See you in 10."
She hung up and Poppy looked at her has if she had grown a second head. "What?" Meg asked standing up and finishing her drink. "Travis as in Johnny's henchman?" "He's not a henchman but yes the security guy?" "That's who you're seeing??" Poppy said shocked. "No! God no!! I'm not seeing anyone!" Meg said wondering if that was now the truth. "I just thought it was a very sad notion to go to one of my favourite kind of evenings without anyone to dance with. I can't imagine Polly being too happy about sharing Dan." Polly giggled "You haven't seen him dance recently, you might need to teach him a few things!"
