Meg climbed out the ocean and onto the deck. "Hey hot stuff." Johnny smirked as he lit one of his iconic cigarettes. She smiled at the compliment before squeezing the droplets out of her hair. "Hey yourself. Are the kids ok?" She asked. "They are fine. Just wanted to know about a few dates in fall as their mother has a big project coming up so they might be around more." Meg smiled, the pair had both been enjoying the beautiful waters just off the coast of Cannes, in a leased yacht that Johnny had surprised Meg with a few days after the children had left for Paris. "Ahh well that's going to be fun! You always say how much you miss them." She sat down pouring herself a cold drink out the jug that had been placed on the table by a member of staff. Johnny rubbed his chin and tried to hide a smile as he blew smoke away from her. "What?" She asked coyly. "Nothing. It's just nice to see you finally coming around to enjoying the finer things in life." She rolled her eyes. "I'm enjoying it because I'm very aware that you probably spent an obscene amount of money to make this happen? Not to mention the logistics involved and it would be very rude of me to not enjoy your hospitality wouldn't it?" She couldn't help but giggle as he beckoned her over to his lap. Even though she was wet from her swim she gently sat down on his lap. "There's no point me earning what I do to not spoil the ones I love and that now means you." He took another drag blowing smoke in the opposite direction. "Well I love you too." She said before kissing him passionately. They were soon interrupted by somebody clearing their throat. They pulled apart and saw the head of staff. "Sir, we were wondering if you've made plans for dinner this evening? Would you like to dine on land or on board?" Johnny looked at his girlfriend before coming up with an idea in his own mind. "On board tonight I think. It's more private." He said before thanking the man.

Later that evening, Meg had showered and dressed for dinner. Johnny had disappeared for a smoke a few moments prior so she began to explore the yacht to find him. She wandered around the main deck, which was pretty deserted apart from one member of crew, who nodded with a smile, and went below deck. "Doll?" Meg turned from admiring the view, her brunette tresses loose, and the white dress she had gently moved in the breeze. Turning on the spot to admire her boyfriend she smiled. "Yes?" She said quietly. "You look exceptionally beautiful." He smiled with a cigarette between his lips, a trademark look of his. "Thank you for this." She said loosely wrapping her arms around his waist and kissing his cheek. She didn't care the smoke was blowing in her face. "Stop thanking me.." he chuckled inhaling and removing the cigarette and blowing the smoke away from her. "Well you've spoilt me and I like to thank you." She said almost blushing. He smirked before putting an arm around her and leading her to the back of the boat where they sat and awaited their meal.

"So I've been thinking..." Johnny said seriously. He took a sip of wine. "Go on..." Meg said, leaning on both her arms on the table. She smiled awaiting his response. He smirked before taking a deep breath, "You're happy in LA right? It's almost been a year, you'd tell me if you wanted to leave right?" Meg's eyebrows furrowed. "Of course. Johnny, I've never been happier." Meg said quietly. She wasn't sure where the conversation was going. "Good, I'm glad. Sweetheart, you're happiness is what's important to me, you and the kids are my life." Meg smiled sweetly. "Well I want you happy too." She said winking with a shy giggle. "Well... it would make me very very happy, if you'd..." he swallows nervously and rubbed his chin. "Do you wanna live with me?" He chuckled looking down at the table before looking up at her and catching her shocked eye. "Live with you?" She questioned. "Yeah baby.. like properly, not just in the house down the road. You wake up with me, you go to sleep in my bed, you be my girl?" Meg was stunned, almost taken aback, she smiled bashfully. "Live with you? Like permanently?" She giggled. "Yes.. I don't mean like a summer camp." He smirked. "Johnny..." she said softly reaching for his hand across the table. She bit her lip, "Don't you think it's a bit soon?" She said nervously. Johnny squeezed her hand. "Soon? I love you and you love me right? What's too soon about it?" "Oh Johnny... of course I love you... I just think the children, what would they think? We haven't even been dating a year?" She saw the sad look in his face and instantly her heart broke. "But... I mean.. perhaps, if you wanted to ask me again say, November time, you know after we've been officially together a year then I think it's a wonderful idea." She said with a big smile, Johnny immediately looked up and beamed. "Seriously?" "Well, dependent on the children's opinion... Johnny, I'd love to live with you." She giggled.

Raising his glass to meet hers he said "Well I very much look forward to November 1st." "Me too." Meg giggled.
