"What about this?!" Poppy emerged from her closet in a short revealing dress. Meg was sat on the edge of her sister's bed and screwed her face. "Hmmm not exactly elegant. Lovely though. You could wear that the next time we go dancing?" Poppy nodded before retreating once more. "I have nothing!!!!" She yelled before stomping her foot and re emerging in a robe. "Let's raid yours?!" Meg rolled her eyes before nodding. "Sure... come on."

Eventually Poppy had been dressed in a beautiful dress that Meg owned. Her sister had even taken the time to assist her with her make up and hair, before declaring her baby sister ready and agreeing to meet her downstairs.

Meg had begun to start dinner, a small meal for one when the door went. She wiped her hands and headed out into the lobby and answered the door. There stood with a large bouquet of red roses, was Travis looking extremely handsome and dapper in a dark suit. "Travis." She smiled coyly. "Meg" he said with a smirk. "Come on in, she's almost ready." The woman said showing the man in. "Poppy!!!" Meg yelled up the stairs feeling more like a mother than an elder sister. "Coming!!!" She heard her sister say. "Travis, can I get you a drink? I was just opening a bottle." "I wouldn't say no to a small glass..." he said following her into the kitchen. "I must say, you scrub up well Trav." "Thanks doll. No big plans tonight?" "No.." Meg giggled, "Johnny is with the children. I'm having a quiet night in!" They heard the familiar sound of heels on the tiled floor in the hallway and turned to greet a smiling Poppy as she entered the kitchen area. "Woahhh" the security staff gasped. "Pops you look INSANE." He smiled kissing his girl passionately. Meg smiled before turning away and focusing on the pan on the hob as she added her ingredients. "Don't wait up!" She heard Poppy said and smiled turning holding her hand up waving. "Have fun guys."

An hour or two later, Meg left her bedroom, in silk short pyjamas and a matching cami top, throwing the matching colour robe over the top she did it up and headed down the stairs. She had just enjoyed a long hot bubble bath with a glass of wine and felt very relaxed. As she made it to the second to last step the front door opened with a chorus of "HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!" Her face was a picture as she spotted, Lily-Rose and Jack carrying covered plates followed by their father who had the biggest most luxurious bouquet she had ever seen. He was busy scolding the children for barging in when he turned and spotted his girlfriend pyjama clad on the staircase. "So sorry doll.... Jack will learn about knocking one day." He smirked. Meg's eyes widened as the kids noticed her and smiled. "Happy Valentines Day Meg!" Jack added and Lily smiled "We made you gifts!" Meg shook her head as she descended the remaining stairs. "Happy Valentines Day guys.. what?! Why did you make me gifts?" "How about we take these plates into the kitchen and we will explain all?!" Johnny added as the children rushed off and he slid an arm around her. "Happy Valentine's Day beautiful lady." He said before she looked at him and he captured his lips with hers. As they gently and slowly pulled back after a spine tingling kiss, Meg whispered back "Happy Valentine's Day Johnny."

They joined the children who were now sat on bar stalls, and Jack was pulling off the Saran wrap. "These are Valentines Day cookies!" Jack said proudly and Meg admired them. "Wow guys they are amazing!! I'll make us all some hot chocolate and we can try them!" She turned to grab a saucepan and added a large amount of milk to it. "So what do I owe the pleasure for your visit?" Meg said hoping to spark up a conversation with Lily, who was extremely protective of her father and hadn't fully opened up to Meg yet. She looked at the teen and the girl replied. "Well, we spoke to Dad about his plans for Valentines Day, and he said you both had agreed to not see one another because we were around and we didn't like the idea of that did we Jacky? You've only just got together, you need to keep the romance alive!" Lily giggled and Meg smiled sincerely. "That's very kind of you, but honestly, you guys came first, it's only one day. I would have been fine!" She stirred the milk before Johnny wandered around the island and slid his arm around Meg. "I did try and tell them..." he whispered. Meg nodded smiling. "Besides I don't really do Valentines Day." She said sparking Jack's interest. "What do you mean?!! How can you not do Valentines Day?" "It's just not a holiday I celebrate much." "But why??" Jack asked inquisitively. "Umm because, I was in a previous relationship where the guy never acknowledged it so therefore I didn't." "What? He didn't even buy you flowers?" Lily asked shocked. "Nope.." Meg said pouring the hot chocolate into mugs. "No chocolates?" Jack asked. "Nope.." the woman said adding mini marshmallows. "No jewellery? No perfume?" Lily asked once again flabbergasted. "Honestly he rarely did any of that. Let alone on Valentines Day. Anyway.. here's your hot chocolate. Let's try some of those delicious cookies?" Meg said hopefully making Johnny smile. "I'm so glad we came over now!!" Lily added making Meg smile.

"Where's Poppy?" Johnny asked as the four were sat at the island sampling the cookies. "Travis arrived a few hours ago suited and booted. I don't expect them back for a while." Meg said knowingly. "Ahh.. I'm sorry we couldn't go out." Johnny whispered. "Don't be. This is far more lovely, and besides it's the best way I've celebrated Valentines Day in years." She said so the children could hear. "Can we watch a movie?" Jack asked. "I'd like that. Lily?" Meg replied and the teen nodded. "Why don't you two go set it up and I'll bring some snacks." Meg said as the children stood and left the kitchen. "Seriously? This is how you want to spend Valentine's Day?" Johnny asked. "Yes. J, this is perfect... tell me, how did the cookies come about?" "Oh well me and the kids were chatting and they heard we weren't going out so Lily asked what I got you and I said just the flowers that I planned to drop round after they were asleep, and then Jack insisted we made cookies and we all came to share the love."  Meg smiled "that's very sweet and the flowers are so beautiful. Thank you once again."
