Chapter 5 • Defeated (Enemies)

-Y/N's POV (Enemies)-
My plane took off early in the morning. Once I boarded it, I spent the next 5 hours flying from California to Florida.

To say I was excited was an understatement. To be honest, I was looking forward to being a bitch to Sapnap again. After all, my comments were funny enough to make the first time around.

Once I arrived in Florida, Dream picked me up from the airport. Right away, I ran to him and hugged him tightly. He hugged me back around the waist as he giggled.

DREAM:
"I can't believe you're finally here!" He was basically jumping for joy.

Y/N:
"Me either but I'm starving, let's go—" I split apart from him to run outside, making him wheeze.

Along the car ride, Dream and I discussed several topics and eventually, we got on the topic of Sapnap.

DREAM:
"He told me what happened last night between you two."

Y/N:
"Oh?"

DREAM:
"Yeah." He chuckled, "He said you were bashing him and Catherine, which is weird because you're good friends with both of them."

Y/N:
"Pfft—" I looked off to the side, confusing Dream, "I just had a bad day, that's all..."

I lied while pressing my lips together.

DREAM:
"Oh, what happened?"

Y/N:
"Well, my mother was a bitch, which is surprising because...she's always been my hero...and now, she's not like the way she was before..." I explained, my smile faltering, "Anyways, it doesn't matter. All that matters is that I'm in Florida now. I'm ready to spend my birthday with y'all soon and I'm ready to see Sapnap and George, plus you."

He lightly smiled while nodding then payed attention to the road again.

Shortly, we made it to his house.

Once we climbed out of the car, shutting the doors behind us, we stepped up to the front door. Dream soon swung it open by the handle and walked inside with my suitcases.

Right away, I glanced up and met eyes with Nick.

He had just gotten Doritos from the pantry. Once he gazed at me, his expression fell a little. He swallowed hard at me while setting the bowl down on the kitchen island.

Dream instantly picked up on the tension between us.

DREAM:
"I'll go set your bags in the spare room." He awkwardly smiled then raced upstairs to get away from us.

I stepped forward while holding onto my hands, unable to hide my grin.

Y/N:
"Still mad?"

SAPNAP:
"Depends, are you still being rude?" He raised his eyebrows.

Y/N:
"Nope." I lied, "It's all good. Just excited to see y'all. Are you excited to see me?"

He nodded slowly.

Y/N:
"Am I allowed to have a hug? I did just travel all the way here for y'all."

Sapnap rolled his eyes with a light smile then walked to me, engulfing me in a hug around the shoulders, resting his chin on my shoulder.

Right away, slight tears formed in my eyes. Instantly, being in his arms made me feel so much better, it felt like I was home again.

Suddenly, Sapnap's phone rang, making us jump and split apart. He took out his phone from his pocket to see George was calling him. Sapnap immedietly answered.
