Includes strong language, blood and death.-GEORGE's POV (London Boy)-
When Dream told me that Y/N was keeping something from me, her being my girlfriend was the last thing I expected out of his mouth. I scoffed instantly while shaking my head.GEORGE:
"Yeah right." I crossed my arms.CLAY:
"It's true. Y/N was your girlfriend in the original timeline, she told me herself."GEORGE:
"Why are you lying?" My eyebrows squished together.CLAY:
"Why do you think I'm lying?" He frowned.GEORGE:
"Because—someone that badass doesn't get with someone like me."CLAY:
"What do you mean 'someone like me'?"GEORGE:
"I'm not a spy, Dream. I don't go on missions, I'm a man-child. I play a child's game for a job and God knows the last time I had a girlfriend...I just think you're full of it."Dream shook his head while biting the inside of his cheek.
CLAY:
"And I think you're full of it for not believing that someone that amazing could love you..." He raised his eyebrows.I swallowed hard while narrowing my eyes at him.
CLAY:
"Now that amazing person is gonna die tonight...I hope you're proud of yourself, George..." He started walking to the stairs when I spoke.GEORGE:
"Why are you arguing with me?? I already lost one friend, I don't need to lose another—" I raised my voice.Dream froze and turned his head to meet my eyes from over his shoulder.
CLAY:
"You already did when you chose to betray her..." He whispered.I clenched my jaw tightly while rolling my tongue over my teeth, giving him a glare. After a few moments, Dream went upstairs and eventually, shut his bedroom door. I sighed angrily while shaking my head.
"He's such an idiot...there's no way Y/N was my girlfriend. I did the right thing." I thought while stepping forward into my room, slamming my door, locking it in the process.
Yes, Y/N was great but I couldn't handle losing Dream. It's one thing losing Sapnap, the friend who was like a brother to me. But if I lost Dream, my true best friend, I couldn't survive either.
Losing Sapnap was bad enough, I'm miserable enough for his death. I couldn't lose Dream too. I just couldn't. So instead, I made the choice to lose Y/N.
I can lose Y/N, but I can't lose Dream. It's just the way it was.
In the middle of my rant in my head, someone suddenly started pounding on our front door, making me jump. They were ringing the doorbell and banging over and over. For a moment, I thought it was Y/N. So, I swung open my bedroom door then swung open the front door.
It wasn't Y/N, it was Dante.
He was breathing heavily with a fearful look. Without asking, he instantly came in and shut the door behind him, locking it.
GEORGE:
"W—What're you doing here?" I asked nervously.DANTE:
"R—Running from my father." He bent down slightly, resting his palms on his knees, taking deep breaths, "Damn, I gotta workout more..."I scoffed while looking off to the side.
GEORGE:
"You literally have a 6 pack, I can see it through your shirt....why are you running from Russ?"
