-Y/N's POV (Falling For A Fan)-
Mason never came back downstairs that day. I had no choice but to fall asleep in an uncomfortable wooden chair, tied with tight ropes around my wrists and ankles behind me. No food, no water, only exhaustion.

The next morning, Mason walked down the stairs with a chocolate chip muffin in his hand for me. I hazily opened my eyes at his footsteps, then he stood in front of me.

MASON:
"Good morning, Y/N." He narrowed his eyes, "Here's your breakfast..."

He handed me the muffin but failed to realize my wrists were still tied behind my back. So, he huffed out a smile at the realization, then lifted the muffin to my lips.

Y/N:
"I don't want it..." I spoke lowly.

MASON:
"Why not? You're hungry, surely?"

Y/N:
"Two things about that: One, I had an eating disorder recently for a few weeks, so I got well used to not eating for a while. And two, the last time I ate something you gave me, it made me collapse from poison. So no thanks." I blinked slowly at him.

Mason clenched his jaw then threw the muffin across the room angrily. It made me jump slightly. My enemy glared at me, hard.

Y/N:
"Once Clay realizes George's parents aren't in the hospital, he's going to fly back to Florida and look for me, you do realize that, right?" I tilted my head.

MASON:
"I have the solution to that." He turned around, pointing to the gun in his back pocket, I clenched my jaw at it, "Your little boyfriend and his friends won't find you here."

Y/N:
"I don't want them to..." I swallowed hard.

MASON:
"Good, because you're going to stay with me here for the rest of our lives." He lightly smiled while bending down near the ground to meet my eyes.

Y/N:
"Mason..." I began asking him the questions I had in the first timeline, that I never got to ask, "Why are you obsessed with me now...? In high school, you told everyone that we weren't even friends...that I was just some random girl who had a crush on you..."

MASON:
"Well..." His expression relaxed a little, "In high school, I was blinded by Macey. Meanwhile, she was blinded by other guys behind my back...but you were right there all along. You cared, you loved me...and after high school, I looked you up. Found your singing on YouTube...and it was love at first sight. Everything made perfect sense for the first time in my life..."

I clenched my jaw tighter.

MASON:
"I realized for us, it was right person, wrong time..." He tilted his head.

I huffed out an annoyed smile.

Y/N:
"No...it was wrong person, right time..."

His expression fell.

Y/N:
"You made me feel unloveable, unworthy of love...you made me feel so bad about myself...and you know what Clay did...? He picked up my pieces and glued back together what you broke..."

Mason narrowed his eyes at me.

Y/N:
"With Clay...it's love at first sight...for us...? It's what I thought was love and what you saw as hate...now it's the opposite...you love me and I hate you..."

He chuckled while shaking his head.

MASON:
"You hate me...that's a little overreaction." He stood up, beginning to walk slowly back and forth.

Y/N:
"Overreaction??" I raised my voice a little in offense, "You and I got paired up to sit next to each other every single year for 4 years! I thought we were meant to be but you decided to tell everyone I meant nothing to you—"
