-Y/N's POV (Enemies)-
I couldn't believe it. For an entire year, ever since I left California, my parents never reaching out for 365 days, they were here now.

I slowly stood up and walked to the front door to see them clearer.

DAD:
"Y/N..." He instantly came to me, hugging around my shoulders tightly.

I froze with a nervous expression, never holding him back, even for a second.

Y/N:
"Wh—What are you guys doing here...? You haven't spoken to me in over a year..." I said quietly.

Nick instantly shot his head to me with a frown.

MOM:
"It's because we were in an accident..." She swallowed hard.

My expression dropped as my eyes widened.

MOM:
"That accident took us a year of recovery. A lot of things happened but, we're lucky that we could see you now..." Her face and tone of voice was serious.

DAD:
"The good news is, we're both okay." He smiled, "Now, we can catch up on everything. Let's go out to dinner, the 3 of us, to celebrate our reunion."

I raised my eyebrows in slight disappointment.

Y/N:
"A—Actually um...I had plans tonight with my boyfriend..." I lied while biting the inside of my cheek.

MOM:
"You haven't seen us in a year, Y/N. Didn't you miss us?" She tilted her head.

Y/N:
"Well...last time we spoke, you hurt me..." I swallowed hard at her.

MOM:
"So you wish we didn't survive the accident?" She narrowed her eyes at me.

SAPNAP:
"She didn't say that." He interrupted, holding out his hand, "Nick, nice to meet you two."

My father shook his hand.

DAD:
"Is this your boyfriend?"

My lips curled down immediately, remembering how close my father and Nick got in the original timeline once my dad came back into my life. Now, they didn't recognize each other.

Y/N:
"No..." I mumbled.

MOM:
"Y/N, we're having dinner tonight. We need to speak about a few things with you in private."

Y/N:
"Fine..." I gave in just so they would shut up.

DAD:
"We really did miss you, honey." He wrapped his arm around me, giving me a side hug.

Y/N:
"Missed you too..." I said quietly while staring at the ground.

MOM:
"We're only visiting today, leaving tomorrow, so is there a room for us to sleep?"

SAPNAP:
"Yeah, I can show you." He started to walk towards the stairs.

DAD:
"I'll get things set up for us." He kissed my mother's head then followed Nick upstairs.

Now, my mother and I were alone.

MOM:
"Is your head still messed up from last year?"

I clenched my jaw while narrowing my eyes at her.

Y/N:
"You mean about the timelines?"

MOM:
"Yes..."

Y/N:
"Nope, don't worry. I was lying back then." I lied, "As if magic was real..."

I started to walk into the kitchen to get away, but she followed me.

MOM:
"I don't believe you were lying. I believe you thought it was the truth..." She spoke lowly.
