After I was properly taken care of, and am now fully dressed up, I sat next to my siblings, and in front of some family members.Josephine and José sat next to me along with my two cousins Mariana and Maria. They both have dirty blonde wavy hair, and blue eyes. They were the daughters of my Uncle from my dad's side.
Uncle Alvaro was two years older than my Father, 56 years old. He sat next to my Father right in front of me. Uncle Alvaro had Auburn styled hair, and blue eyes. His wife was a blonde with brown eyes, but their kids resembled uncle more.
I didn't have a terrible relationship with Maria and Mariana, but I could tell they felt smug because I didn't have any abilities, and they managed to have some skills due to them practicing necromancy with my Uncle. This family was honestly so fucking annoying, and their ego was unbearable.
My Grandfather from my Father's side, the only grandfather I had because the other died, sat next to Uncle Alvaro. He looked very decent for his age. With a brown shaved buzz cut, pale green eyes, and at 77 years old, I was surprised no one had complimented him today. His wife died three years ago, and yet he seemed really strong. I wouldn't be able to handle it, if the love of my life died.
Mother's sister, an absolute demon, sat right next to Mother. Sonja howell was 50 and the younger sister of my Mother. She ran a fortune telling shop, and was really good at her abilities. But, I would've liked her if she wasn't strict, rude, and a pain in the ass. Aunt Sonja's medium cut hair was black and curly, her eyes were icy blue, not like her sister, but like their Mother who sat on her left side.
Grandma Ruth, she was an absolute sweetheart towards me, and she was more like a Mom to me than my own Mother. She was only 78 years old, yet her appearance made her look like she was only 64. Her hair was a darker shade of brown, and put up in a tight but comfortable bun. Her eyes were icy blue too, and square glasses framed her face correctly.
Just to put it out there, Uncle Alvaro, Grandma Ruth, and Grandpa Pablo were kind to me. I didn't have any issues with them, and they didn't have any issues with me. My father... He wasn't bad. I mean, he's trying now.

Father told them everything I told him on the phone. Josephine looked.. Tense, and José looked glad. I wasn't sure why he looked glad, most of the time he seemed like he hated me so badly, and wished for me to just disappear. Although, I do wish I could just disappear. Should I just fake my death?
Too far? Alright.
Mother's eyes glinted with curiosity and tears. ".. I'm so glad, I've been praying for this..!"
I roll my eyes causing Aunt Sonja to glare at me. I scoff. "Sure you have, telling your own husband that you lost hope, after he was convinced that I was a late bloomer, really shows how glad you were."
I shut my mouth when Aunt Sonja sternly scolds me. "That's not how you speak to your own Mother, have some respect, and be glad we're even paying attention to you."
Everyone stays silent. I widen my eyes, and I swirl my tongue against my inner cheek, as my seething fury overwhelms everyone present. "She's not my fucking Mother, and you keep your filthy mouth shut, I don't consider you my aunt, you've done nothing to deserve that title."
Mother winces. "How could you say that?"
I chuckle bitterly. "Oh please, you've only cared for Josephine and José, you might not want to admit it, but you're a horrible person, it's honestly terrifying. Grandma is more like a Mom to me than you, because she didn't hate me or ignore me simply because my abilities weren't present yet."
Father opens his mouth to say something but I raise my hand up, furiously spit out, and watch as my 'Family' gapes at me intensively. "Let me just make three things clear; When my abilities are figured out, don't expect to stay here so that you can all help me. Since the day I was born, I've been my own Parent, I know all there is to know about these abilities, and am confident enough to say that, I can help myself."
"Two. Don't expect me to be all giddy with you all, because I have an intense hatred towards all of you, and I'd rather never have to see you guys ever again, than pretend that you've all been treating me well since I was a child." Grandma Ruth's face is sullen, she glumly looks away, trying to hide the tears that form in her eyes. Uncle Alvaro was smirking, proud that I was standing up to myself, but now he was glaring at his brother and his wife.
"Three. As soon as I know what I can do, I'm leaving, and I'm never coming back. I won't visit, or check up on any of you. Stay out of my life, and stay out of my business. I didn't need you guys before, and I certainly don't need you now." I drop my hand, and close my eyes furiously huffing.
After what seems like eternity, Aunt Sonja opens her mouth. "You're so childish." I don't let that get to me. I simply open my eyes, look her up and down, and mock her. "What a pathetic Hypocrite, you're the one who's childish, that's exactly why Grandma Ruth was sick of you and your annoying Tantrums. You're fifty, grow up, if you can't be my Aunt, then at least shut your filthy mouth up."
Grandpa Pablo calmly raises his voice. "..Stop yelling at your Nephew! Joseph, please, calm down."
I like Grandpa Pablo, and since he's an old man, he doesn't deserve to be yelled at. I stay quiet.
After that, she stays silent too, and the rest do too. Most seemed surprised of everything I said. Father looks up to not let the tears slip out of his eyes. He takes a few deep breaths, and forces a smile out. A part of me felt guilty, but a part of me felt satisfied. This was what they deserved, after neglecting me.
Father thoughtfully concludes. "I suspect you may have some Clairvoyance, clairaudience, and clairtangency. From what you told me, It seems you're a lot more advanced than most beginners."
I send Mariana and Maria a smug smile. Ha! Now they have no reason to think they're better than me!!
Maria rolls her eyes, and Mariana playfully sticks her tongue out on me.
Mother hurriedly and excitedly says. "I think it would be better if you stay here, that way, we can figure out if those are the only abilities you have!" Aunt Sonja agrees.
I slam my hands on the table, I have a headache due to my infuriating family. "I'm not sure if you're deaf, or fucking mental, Mother. I clearly stated earlier, I don't need your help, and I'm not gonna stay here anymore!"
Aunt Sonja shouts as loud as she can. "Enough! Children nowadays!! Why are you shouting at your own Mother!"
Grandma Ruth grips her arm, glaring at her. "Quit speaking for your older Sister! I'm disappointed at her for being such a horrible Mother, so let Joseph be honest with her!!" Aunt Sonja bites her tongue, she breathes heavily as she squints her eyes rather furiously at me.
I guffaw madly. "For the last time, she's not my Mother, and you certainly are not my Aunt. We may be blood related, all of you, but I don't consider any of you my Family."
I stand up, putting my hair behind my ear, I strut off, and state very loudly, "Farewell Uncle, Grandma, and Grandpa Pablo. The rest of you, May we never meet again."
It wasn't only that I wanted to be away from them, I could buy another house. But,
Maybe, just maybe, this house could be the push I need.
