One Month later.

I shut the doors and grip the books tighter so that they don't slip out of my grasp.

It was 18pm and I had just finished working in a Bookshop. I actually did not have to work because my Family was very wealthy. Somehow. But I didn't want to depend on their money forever. Eventually it would run out, and I'd have to struggle to get a job. So, I decided to just work at a Bookshop!

I love reading books so this was a win win Situation for me. Although, my money wouldn't run out because my Father made sure of that.

A few people that walked past me greeted me, I greeted them back, starting to walk faster. Dark clouds were approaching, and I knew it would rain soon.

I was thinking about the call. An incident happened while I was working, I felt a bit.. Lightheaded, and my ears ringed for some reason. Two people saw me crouch down in pain, and they walked over to me in hopes of being able to help me. Later, they asked for my number after speaking to me for an hour throughout my entire shift. I gladly gave it to them, I didn't have any friends.

I've never had friends, and I've never met other people aside from my Family, and that was why settling in was very hard. My parents taught me everything a child needed to know, later, as a teen, I had to teach mysslf things because they were too busy with Josephine and José.

If I were to arrive home, I knew I would be expecting a call from the sweet lady and gentleman from earlier. When I approached my house, my eyes found themselves staring at numbers that were carved on the Building. It was the year the house was built in, 1849. Right above those numbers, were more numbers.

1865, the Shaw House.

There was a metal plate containing small words I couldn't read. I leaned forward and began to slowly read the words out loud, "..Named after the Two couples.. That.. died here in 1865-"

A firm but strong hand grasps my shoulder causing me to turn around quickly. My head spins due to the movement. An Old lady stands before me with a curious glint in her eyes. She glances at the Plate, and glances back to my face, looking at me too curiously. "You don't know about the Shaw House?"

I feel a lump in my throat when I gulp. Was this House.. Haunted?

She laughs, patting my back when fear shows on my face. "Whatever you are thinking, stop. The story starts like this,"

Cryptma, Tuesday,
1849.

Sebastian crossed his arms angrily at his Father's orders. Why did he have to get married, to a woman he doesn't know? Why was it mandatory? It would be better if Sebastian married who he wanted, and if the woman married who she loved!!

But, if only he had been.. Careful enough.

Sebastian left the house around midnight to go to some clubs. He was certain his Father was asleep, although he didn't check, he was certain because he always did this every friday night. The club was very secretive, it was for the people who couldn't be true to themselves. The people who desired those from the same gender. Sebastian was quite popular there, he was friendly with the Bartenders, and flirty with a few cute men he meet there.

But, the night couldn't end too well. His father had caught him, and it all ended up with a slap on his face! Afraid of what he'll do next, and embarrassed because his partner for the night saw the way his Father practically dragged him home.

His next move was predictable though.

"What?" Marie shrieked. Her hazel eyes were wide open as she gaped at her Parents for their sudden decision over her life. She was to get married to Sebastian Shaw, a curly black haired man with alluring grey eyes. Her parents didn't let her meet him, they only described how he looked like, and expected for her to be okay with this. She wasn't, she didn't want to spend the rest of her life, with someone she barely knew!
