I walked through different rooms, hoping to find more out. When I couldn't, I searched the House when I realized that I haven't seen Sebastian in a while. Anxiety overwhelms me, I shout for his name, I even close my eyes in hopes of being able to feel him! I rush out of my house, and run towards the Graveyard. And that's where I found him.

He wore one of my coats, dark pegged pants, and brown boots. Sebastian glared at a Tombstone, he had one of the Flowers I left at home, the flowers I took a liking to when I read books about Plants since I wasn't allowed outside. It was a flower type called Ranunculus, also known as buttercup. My favorite flowers, the ones I laid on Sebastian's grave, the ones my neighbors gave me, and the ones I read about. The Persian buttercup.

My face turned into an intense shade of red when I realized why he called me Buttercup. As I stood there, gazing at the Man that was glaring at a Tombstone, I felt mystified by him. I didn't know much about, but.. I wanted to know more. It was a desire. And that desire was fueled even more, when he turned around to stare me straight in the eyes. A hidden mystery in his eyes, something wasn't right. I could sense many things about this Man, but they weren't clear enough for me to be able to fully comprehend them.

He raised an eyebrow in question. "Are you feeling better, Joseph?" I bit my lip, he wasn't calling me buttercup anymore. Gosh, it's just a nickname! He was only teasing me, why does it mean so much to me?

I bop my head, crossing my arms as I feel the chilly air against my reddened cheeks. "Forgive me for earlier, I don't know much about you. I'll try my hardest to ensure that, that never happens again." He apologized without breaking eye contact.

I shook my head. "No need to apologize." I walk towards him, all the confidence I had before disappeared, I averted my stare but held my ground as his grey eyes fixated themselves on me. "..There's a lot to do, and I have some news for you. Can we go inside? I'll make lunch and then we can talk."

He didn't say anything, he only obeyed me and followed me very closely.

I washed the dishes, and put them in their respective areas. When I was sure that I was finished tyding up, I went back to the living room, Sebastian sat on a comfy arm chair, his leg over his left leg, eyes staring at the Fireplace. I sat down on the sofa, and placed my bag on the coffee table.

Opening one of the books that interested me, I explain to him first before telling him what I found out. "My mother's side are all Psychic, and my Father's side are Necromancers. My siblings, José and Josephine have abilities. Josephine has clairvoyance, clairaudience, and a little bit or clairsentience."

I lean against the sofa, and relax my legs as I explain even further. "José has Clairalience and Clairsentience, his clairgustance abilities are undeveloped. He can also control the dead," Sebastian turns to me, seeming very interested in what I'm saying. "Turning them into his zombies, reanimating them, he.. He's not able to ressurect them though, he doesn't have the power."

I glance at him. "I thought I wouldn't get any abilities. We get them as kids, but I thought I was skipped. Your 'Past' caused my mind to awaken my abilities. The house, it was very overwhelming. I resurrected you, and my family doesn't know about it."

Sebastian speaks lowly, and hesitantly. "..I don't feel really alive. Food doesn't help, I need my energy elsewhere."

I curse under breath, "I figured. Sebastian, do you know what Soul ties are?"

He crosses his arms. "Back in the days, I visited your Grandmother, from your Mother's side. She gave me some advice about Marie. So, don't worry, I'm familiar with these things."

His ex wife..

I clear my throat. "Well.. My sister could sense that my Soul was tied with someone else's, maybe, You need your energy from me."

His eyes bore into my intensively, searching my face, but that only made me blush harder when he asked. "How? What will you do, mh?"

Why does my mind fail me! Enough, this is already strange as it is.

I struggle to find some suitable words to make this situation more... Appropriate. "I'd.. We would need to be connect in some way for it to work. So for now, let's get to know each other, and then, we can figure out the rest!"

Sebastian repeats after me thoughtfully, "In some way.. Alright. Do you know what happened to me, Joseph?" Why wasn't he calling me buttercup anymore? He seemed very distant.

I answer, pushing those thoughts away from my head. "I had some visions early.. But No, not really. Did you.. Perhaps.. Cheat on Marie?" Sebastian glared at me, he inquired very bluntly. "Why do you say that?"

I twist my fingers very uncomfortably, and avert my stare towards the fire. "I saw you.. With a Man, you were very touchy, and.. Marie caught you, she was very upset about it.."

He sharply interrogated me, "Why did you saw the word 'Man' like that, is something wrong? Or is Homosexuality still frowned upon?"

I splutter my words out, he raises his eyebrow and his scrutinizing stare drills into my Soul. Shit.. Am I getting defensive? "No.. I mean.. I don't know, I haven't been out in the real world in forever.. I.. Personally, it's not an issue for me. I-I am sorry, fo-forgive me."

Sebastian deadpans. "Forget it. Just know, you've got it all wrong." He turns his stare towards the fire cackling in the background. "It all started when my Father caught me in a.. Club."
