9-1-1, what's your grievance?
🚨

Lindseys eyes scanned the backyard, ultimately falling back onto the woman. She was face down in the pool, blood all around her. She took her eyes off the lady and walked over to Athena and Bobby. "Gunshot wound to the chest. She was already dead when we got here." Athena said.

The rest of the 118 made their way over but Bobby stopped them, "Don't think you're gonna be needing those med kits." Lindsey watched as both Eddie and Bucks eyes fell on the dead woman. "Yeah, Crime Scene units on the way. We just need to get a medical confirmation that she's dead."

"On it." Chimney said as he passed Lindsey. He grabbed the pool skimmer and used it to pull the woman towards him.

"Ooh, ooh, hey, whoever killed her kicked that gate in good. Saw a clean footprint on it." Buck said, pointing over at the gate.

"Yeah that was me." Buck looked over at his girlfriend with wide eyes, "You kicked that down?" Lindsey gave him a playful glare, "Yes I did. And I'll have you know, that's not the first time i've kicked a door down. I mean, I learned from the best." She was referring to Derek who had an...interesting relationship with doors.

"The gate was latched shut from the inside. Front door was locked too." Athena informed the group. "If everything was locked when you got here, how'd the murderer get in or out?" Eddie asked.

"It's a locked-room mystery." Buck said and Eddie added, "A locked yard mystery. What do you think? Home invasion gone bad? Murder for hire?"

"Was she married? Cause, you know, the husband is usually the culprit." Lindsey rolled her eyes at the two men while Athena asked, "Are we making a true crime podcast?"

Hen spoke up, "Calling it-definitely some signs of struggle. Looks like a fresh manicure too." Lindsey walked over to look at the woman's hand. Half of her nail was missing. "Guessing that the broken nail would have bugged her less than the bullet hole." Chimney said.

"You got an ID for the paperwork?"

Detective Romero made his way over to them, "Yeah, the victims name is Delia Narwood. She's the owner and sole occupant of the property," Romero tripped over a garden gnome and Eddie stopped him from falling to the ground, "And a...apparent fan of tiny garden statuary."

"Hey, you know, none of this mails addressed to Delia Narwood-it's not even the right house number." Eddie said as he looked at the mail on the table. "She was stealing people's mail. Maybe she saw something she wasn't supposed to...and it got her killed." Buck said as he swirled around to look at Lindsey and Athena.
