month one...
Lindsey felt Bucks grip tighten on her hips as he pulled her even closer. Her nails ran along the back of his neck and up into his hair, lightly tugging on it as she deepened the kiss.
He bit down on her bottom lip as his hands trailed down her thighs, that were straddling his waist, then back up and under her shirt. Well, technically it was his shirt, she just liked to wear it.
Lindsey let out a sigh, her head tipping to the side as he peppered kisses along her jaw and down her neck.
It had been a minute since the two had had any alone time like this. They had been so wrapped up in the pregnancy and then Adelia that they didn't get many moments like these.
Buck grabbed the bottom of Lindsey's shirt and began to pull it off but stopped halfway when they heard a cry.
"Maybe she'll fall back to sleep." Lindsey whispered. Their eyes stared up at the loft waiting but silence never came. Buck let out a sigh as he pulled Lindsey's shirt back down, "Guess we're watching a movie."
"Guess so." She responded and leaned down for another kiss. "I'll get her."
Climbing off Bucks lap, she quickly made her way upstairs, "I'm coming Sweetheart. Mamas coming." She looked down in the crib to see tears falling from Adelias face and little cry's came from her lips. "It's okay." She said as she reached down to grab her. Picking her up, she still had that newborn scrunch that Lindsey loved so much. She placed her against her chest and rubbed her back, "Oh those are some big crocodile tears."
Adelia started to calm down and Lindsey pulled her away slightly to wipe the tears from her face. "There we go. See, everything's okay." She rocked her in her arms, her left had moving to caress Adelias head.
"You wanna watch a movie with mommy and daddy? Let's watch a movie." Lindsey adjusted Adelia in her arms and then reached out to grab the duck that was resting on the dresser. Her favorite stuffed animal. She held it in Adelias eye line and she smiled at it.
"Come on," Lindsey made her way back downstairs, "Buck, what movie do you wanna watch?"
She didn't get an answer. Her eyes fell on his back that was facing her. He was doing something but Lindsey couldn't see what.
"Buck?"
He turned around and in his hands was a cupcake. On top of the cupcake was a candle that had the number 1.
