As her foot hit the ground, water splashed up at her. Her feet carried her quickly through the parking lot and the pouring rain. Running through the hospital doors, her feet slid on the ground but she kept her balance as her eyes moved around the emergency room. She finally landed on familiar uniforms, all with last names on them, none of them with the name Buckley.

Bobby was the first to notice the brunette. She stood at the entrance doors, dripping wet. Her hair clung to her face, water dripping down it. Her hands shook, which was most likely a mixture of the cold and her panic. The rims of her eyes were red, like she had been crying, and her face wore a mixture of scared and sadness.

Pulling away from his team, he made his way over to her. He didn't say anything, he just pulled her into his arms. He expected her to break down, but she didn't. She held her composure and hugged him back tightly. They felt other hands warp around them. Chimney, Hen, and Eddie were right there with them.

The five held onto each other for a while, not wanting to let go just yet.

"Hey. What do we know?" They heard a voice ask and they turned to see Maddie walking towards them, her parents right behind her. "Not much. He's alive. In critical condition. They had to put him in a medically induced coma to allow his body to rest and recover. Next 24 hours are gonna be crucial." Bobby informed them.

Lindsey's eyes just stayed staring through the window. A nurse was in the room, listening to his heart and checking his vitals. Lindsey's eyes stayed on Buck, he looked so peaceful, but then you look at the tube that's connected to his mouth and all the wires connected to him and you realize that it's not peaceful. It's scary.
