Final Approach
🚨

When Lindsey felt her phone buzz, she gestured for someone else to take over compressions. She pressed Athena's jacket back against her forehead as she answered her phone, "Hey..."

"Linds...how are you doing?" Bucks voice came through and she couldn't help but smile a little. "Oh, you know, just peachy."

"Right, dumb question. Are you guys any closer to landing the plane?"

"Well," she began with a sigh, "if you would have called a few minutes ago, I would have said yes but now...the copilots still out and now we're rotating compressions to keep his blood flowing, which means that Athena's going to be landing the plane."

"Speaking of Athena, i'm with Bobby and we're on our way to LAX. He tried calling her phone but she won't answer." Buck explained and Lindsey nodded as she said, "She's on the phone with ATC."

"Lindsey," Bobby's voice came through the phone, "do you think you could bring the phone to her so I can talk to her?"

Lindsey smiled softly, "Of course, Bobby."

She got up and carefully made her way back to the cockpit but fell into the wall as the plane shook and then started to go downwards. Lindsey's body was again lifted up and she smacked her head against the ceiling of the plane for the second time before hitting the floor.

"Linds! LINDSEY!"

She reached for her phone and tried to stand back up but fell again as the plane kept shaking.

"Lindsey are you there?! Linds!!"

"I'm here! Buck, I'm okay!" She called into her phone as she finally got her footing. She could feel the blood now rushing down her neck but she ignored it as she moved to the cockpit. "Athena!"

The woman turned to see the brunette leaning against the door way, "Why are you not in your seat?!"

"Cause I have someone here who needs to speak with you." She handed her phone to Athena and then slide down the wall as she tried to catch her breath.

"Bobby?"

"Athena! Thank god. Are you doing okay?" Bobby's voice drifted through the phone. Athena responded with, "I've had better days. Do I hear sirens?"
