We're Having A Baby 🚨
Lindsey let out a groan as she felt another contraction begin. Her eyes squeezed shut and her hands gripped the bed. She leaned forward as she muttered, "Oh my god."
"You're doing great." Buck said from behind her. He was massaging her back, trying to give her some relief.
"Where is the doctor?" Lindsey asked through the pain.
"The nurse said he should be here soon. He's with other laboring moms right now." Buck told her and then added, "Maybe you should get back in the bed."
"No! Not yet!"
"How you feeling?" Athena's voice filled the room and Lindsey looked up at her, "Could be better."
"Yeah but just think...all this pain will be worth it." She smiled at her as she placed a hand on Lindsey's face. "I called your parents. They're on their way."
Lindsey tried to smile at her, "Thanks." Her eyes squeezed shut again and she hissed at the pain.
"What do you need? A pillow? Bouncy ball?" Buck asked and Lindsey twisted her head around to look at him, "What I need is our hospital bag but it's not here. God, why didn't I just put it in the car."
Buck ran his hand through her hair as he said, "Don't worry about it. I can run home and get it." He went to move away from her and she immediately shot her hand out and gripped his arm with such strength that Buck turned to her with wide eyes.
"You are not leaving me while i'm in labor!"
He immediately nodded, "You're right. That was a stupid idea. We can send someone else to get it."
Athena watched the two in amusement. "What about some ice chips?" She suggested and Lindsey turned to her, "Ice chips? Yeah those sound good."
"I'll go grab some for you and i'll see if maybe Eddie or Hen could run and grab your hospital bag." As Athena walked out the door Buck mouthed a "thank you" to her and she shot him back a wink.
Lindsey's head dropped as she tried to focus on her breathing while Bucks hands continued to rub her back.
