Life With A Newborn 🚨
Lindsey rubbed at her eyes as she watched her mug fill with coffee. Other than the sound of the coffee dripping, the only other thing that could be heard through the apartment was the sound of Bucks voice.
He talked soft and quietly. Lindsey couldn't make out exactly what he was saying but just the tone of his voice made her smile.
When the coffee stopped, she grabbed her mug and moved towards the fridge. Pulling out the creamer, she mixed it in her coffee and the took a sip. She let out a sigh, it had been a long time since she had tasted coffee.
Keeping the mug in her hand, she reached across the counter to grab her phone and then made her way towards the living room. Her face lit up when her eyes caught Buck, in his arms was their little girl.
"Look, there's mommy." He said softly as his eye looked up to meet Lindsey's. She slowly and carefully (her body was still pretty sore) took a seat next to him and reached her hand over towards Adelia. "Hi my sweet girl." Adelia's little brown eyes stared back at her.
Lindsey shifted her eyes to look back at Buck, "You sure you don't want any coffee?"
"Yeah, i'm sure. I'll get some later. For now let's just relax." He told her and then moved his arm so it wrapped around her shoulders, pulling her closer to him. Lindsey snuggled into his side, her one hand still connected to the baby.
The couple watched as their daughter's eyes danced around the room. Lindsey ran her hand over Adelias head, she had light hair just like her dad. Lindsey was secretly hoping she gets his curls too.
"I still can't believe it." Lindsey said and Buck looked over at her, "I know right."
He placed a kiss on Lindsey head before adding, "My girls."
Adelias eyes moved towards the two and she let out a soft coo. Lindsey and Buck smiled at her. "Oh Adelia Jade," Lindsey began, "Mommy and Daddy love you so much."
A knock was heard and Lindsey made her way to the door. She opened it slowly but when she realized who it was she flung the door open.
"You're here! You're all here!" Lindsey said with a smile on her face.
"Of course we are. Did you really think we were gonna miss this?" JJ said and Emily added, "We couldn't wait any longer. A week was long enough."
