Brawl in Cell Block 9-1-1 🚨
Living with Buck was...weird to say the least. Sure she'd spent the night at his place plenty of times before, but that was when they were dating. Now, Lindsey's not sure if they're even friends.
The first few days were full of awkward conversations, uncomfortable stares, and silent dinners. Eventually they fell into a routine and seemed to get more comfortable with one another.
For a while it would end up being Lindsey staying at Bucks place alone most of the day while he was at work. She was on medical leave due to her injuries. But now she was no longer in pain, she had gotten her stitches removed, and her bruising had gotten better. After a trip to the doctor, Lindsey was given the all clear to get back to work.
When Lindsey walked into the police department, her first stop was the Captains office. She had to go over some paperwork with Maynard before she could get back to work officially.
When she got to the office, she saw the door was cracked open. She could hear voices coming from inside and Lindsey decided to wait before entering.
Lindsey heard Maynard's voice drift through the door. "Warden sent me their inmate files. We can't track them but maybe we can figure out where they might have gone. Says here one was transferred from Chicago 3 years ago. He kidnapped and tortured 8 women, one of them an FBI agent."
"What's his name?" Athena asked.
"Dominic Gale."
Maynard and Athena turned to see Lindsey standing in the door way, an uneasy look on her face. Maynard looked down at her computer screen and nodded, "Yep, Dominic Gale."
"How did you know that?" Athena asked, though she felt she already knew the answer to her question. "Gale and I have some...history." Was all Lindsey said. Walking over to join the two, she asked, "Why are we even talking about Gale?"
"Prisoners have started a riot at Jamestown State Prison. Two prisoners broke out, one of them being Gale, and are holding two firefighters hostage." Maynard told her and Lindsey's eyes widened. "What firefighters?"
"Lindsey, Bobby and the team were the ones on scene. Bobby, Hen, and Ravi are trapped inside the prison. Buck and Eddie are the hostages." She felt her heart drop at Athena's words. "They were supposed to be transporting an injured prisoner, or at least what they thought was an injured prisoner. They had two guards with them, but those guards weren't guards." Maynard added.
