A/N: I'm doing my intermediate exam on Tuesday and totally not procrastinating on my studies so I thought I'd write a bit (btw it's currently almost 3 in the morning).
I also edited the epigraph (formerly 'Author's Note', and added my face claim (though you can still imagine Diana as you'd like ;))
Check it out if you'd like and enjoy this chapter <3
btw, there's a question for you at the bottom, let's just say I'm curious about something 👀
_Warm breathing tickled his skin and send shivers down his spine as Tim awoke two weeks later.
His eyes fluttered open, and through his eyelashes, he caught sight of the most beautiful woman sleeping peacefully in his arms.
Diana had crashed onto his couch after a long and eventful day, after solving two related cases and arresting two men who had killed the wives of each other but created perfect alibis for their wives' own murder.
Last night, she hadn't even noticed Tim was still on his couch when she fell down on it, trapping him with her limb body.
Tim had immediately slung his arms around her, moved her slightly so her knee wasn't pressing against his... well, you know what anymore.
Not long after, he carried her over to his bed, where she had shifted in her slumber so that she was half laying in his chest with her head nuzzled into the crook of his neck.
"You like what you're seeing," she mumbled against his skin before pressing soft kisses onto it.
She shifted slightly and glanced up at him with her honey brown eyes. "Good morning, handsome."
Her fingers clenched around the collar as she pulled it to the side and left a hot trail of kisses leading down his chest.
Tim rolled from the side onto his back, pulling her along with him so that she was on top once again. She didn't let herself be put off and continued down his body, grinning to herself as she neared the waist band of his sweat shorts.
His eyes were glued on her every movement; he didn't want to miss a single thing she did. Right after her tongue grazed the waistband, she moved away from him and sat up on her knees.
"I'm gonna go shower now."
Smirking, Diana jumped out of bed — where she had gotten that energy, he didn't not know — and vanished behind the bathroom doors.
With his eyes wide open and arousal pulsing through his veins, his head fell back into his pillow. She shower was turned on, he listened to the water drumming against the bathroom floor he tiled himself.
Like a gentleman, he stayed still; after all, following a woman — no matter where — was only acceptable on invitation.
The door was opened again, just enough for her head and bare shoulders to be on display. "You wanna join me or not?"
Not waisting a second, he scrambled out of bed.

"So, how was your night? Did you sleep well?"
Lucy looked down at Diana, who was sitting at a table by the food truck in front of the precinct and enjoying her well deserved lunch break.
The detective took a moment to scrutinize her friend from head to toe, recognizing forced emptiness in her expression. "You want something."
Her face fell. "How did you- scratch that. I need you to come on a date with me."
Diana blinked up at her once, twice, three times before she placed her half eaten french fry back into the small plastic basket and patting the empty seat next to her. "I have a feeling this will take some time."
