A/N: Guys, guys, guys, I'm so excited for this chapter, I feel like so many of you have waited for this moment for — well — thirty chapters and a long time (mostly due to my nonexistent update schedule, *cough*)
Also, happy holidays, happy people! What did you get for Christmas this year? my favorite was a mug my sister gifted to me.
Anyways, have fun reading :)
__I fucked up.
I fucked up.
I fucked up.
A silent groan filled with self-pity escaped Diana's lips when she awoke in the next morning.
She laid completely still as the bed beneath her shook a little when the other person got out of it to answer the door.
What do I do?
What do I do?
What do I do?
Voices reached her ears, a woman and a man, but she couldn't make out what they were talking about.
Do I sneak out?
Should I run?
The front door was closed again, making Diana jump. She quietly layed back down so she could pretend she was still asleep.
However, she quickly sat up again, pulling the covers all the way up to her chest so the exposed skin would be covered.
Sighing, she faced the slightly ajar door when she heard steps approaching, some of the memories of the last night slowly resurfacing.
The door was opened.
Tim stared down at her. "How are you feeling?"
_"Tim Bradford? Wasn't he the cop that annoyed you all the time?"
"I called it," Hen sang as she sat down at the table with a cup of coffee in her hands.
Since it was Diana's day off and she couldn't bear being alone after the night she had, she had decided to go to Athena right away - only after she had awkwardly assured Tim that she could get home on her own.
Incidentally, when she arrived at Athena's, Hen and her wife Karen were already there for a nice cup of coffee.
That now turned into some sort of emergency meeting.
Diana rolled her eyes. "That's not funny. It was just weird and awkward this morning."
"Was it also weird and awkward last night?"
Like on command, all three woman wiggled their eye brows, making the detective blush even more.
"Stop it now! Seriously..."
"You have no idea how happy I am to have that single dating life behind me," Karen chuckled, to which her wife a well as Athena clinked their glasses.
"Amen."
Diana groaned in frustration. "You are not at all helpful."
"See it from the bright side. You like him, he likes you."
"What do you mean, he likes me?" Diana was confused. "I don't even remember what happened at all last night. How did I turn up at his house? I started drinking at home."
"You remember nothing at all?"
She shook her head.
"Well, I guess then we'll have to find someone who may."
