Chapter 7: He cares for me

Kristine's POV

• Class dismissal •

After class, I decided to go home by myself. "Sands, di muna ako makakasama sa inyo." I told Sandy. "Baket? May sakit ka ba?" She asked. I shook my head. No. Nothing. "Okay, I understand. I'll just tell Jane and Anna that you cannot come with us. Okay? Bye." She said then left.

I went home with loneliness in my face. As I went inside our house, Manang Hilda saw my face and asked me if there is any problem.

"Wala po Manang, wala lang po akong gana. Sige po aakyat na po ako." I said as I went upstairs. I saw Ate Kath going downstairs looking at me. I didn't look at her. I just went to my room and changed my clothes and doze off.

Ate Kath's POV

As I was going downstairs, I saw Kristine going up with blank reaction on her face. I looked at her but she didn't look back. She has a big problem. So I asked Manang Hilda.

"Manang!" I called her.

"Po?"

"May tatanong lang po ako. May sinabi po ba sa inyo si Kristine?"

"Wala naman. Wala daw siyang problema."

"Ahh. Sige po." Then I went to our garden to wait for Kuya Joshua to go home.

Kristine's POV

I woke up with head ache. It's already 7:30 pm. I cannot move my head cause if I do it's going to be worse. So I just texted Ate Kath.

Me: Ate, can you please go to my room? I just woke up and I have headache. Please bring medicines here and food also. Thankyou.

After 5 minutes, she replied.

Ate Kath: What happened? Okay, okay, I'll go there. Wait for me.

Me: Okay, but please hurry up.

I was about to find the thermometer, when I went out of balance. I cannot see anything, it all went black. I fainted.

Ate Kath's POV

I was hurrying up going to Kristine's room holding medicines, while Manang Hilda was holding her food. As I was opening the door, I didn't see anyone at her bed. Her emergency cabinet was opened and I saw her lying on the floor.

She fainted. I was tensed. I don't know what to do. I put those medicines on the table right beside her couch. I told Manang Hilda to call our doctor. I called mom.

*RING!* Call ended. No answer.

She's not answering her phone. She's busy. So I just texted her.

To: Mom
Mom, I just have to tell you something. Kristine said she have a headache then now she fainted. She needs you here. Please go home. Please!

I also called Kuya Joshua but he's not answering his phone. He's at his class for sure. I also texted him.

To: Kuya Joshua
Hey, Kuya, you need to go home early. Kristine fainted.

I called everyone that I need to call, and they aren't picking up. So I called Tito Jov (Jk's tito). Finally, someone answered my call.

"Hello?" He said.

"Tito Jov? This is Kath. Sister of Kristine."

"Oh ya, ya. Why did you call?" He asked.
