Chapter 12: Ate Kath's Birthday Celebration (Getting Ready)

Ate Kath's POV

Oh Yeah! It's my birthday today. I'm so excited. But not that excited cause dad cannot go home because he has a work at Canada. But I understand him and he promised me that he will treat me when he comes back.

"Ate! Come on down! Breakfast is ready!" Kristine shouted.

"Yeah! I'm coming!" I shouted back.

I took a shower and wore my violet shirt and shorts and room slippers on and went downstairs.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" They all shouted. Specifically, Kuya Joshua, Kristine, Mom, Jk, Tita May, Tito Jov and Lola Linda.

"OMG! Thank you very much!" I said. But I know, mamayang gabi pa yung birthday celebration ko. "Mom?" "Yes?" "Diba mamaya pa birthday celebration ko? Ba't napaaga ata?" They all laugh on my question. "Why?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows.

"Nothing anak, this is just a breakfast party so I invited Jk, May and Jovanni and also Lola Linda." Mom explained.

"So? What are we waiting for? Let's ATTACK!" Kristine said raising those spoon and fork that she is holding. We all laugh then eat.

Kristine's POV

After we eat our breakfast, I went on our garden. I sat on the bench near Eli's dog house. Eli walked towards me and wiggled his tail. I patted his head then someone pushed me that caused me to fell on Eli. Eli cried. "HAHAHA!" He laughs.

"Jk! Eli almost died!" I yelled then glared at him. Ang bigat ko kaya! 😫

"Sorry. HAHAHA. I don't.. HAHAHA.. know.. HAHAHA." He keeps on laughing. Ang sama ng ugali.

"Sige. Tawa pa!" I said while cleaning the dirt on my knees. It has wound. "Ouch!" I complained. "I fell on a rock." I whispered.

"Sorry."

"It's okay. But say sorry to Eli cause he almost died because of you pushing me." I said.

"Okay." Then he petted my dog. At first, he's afraid of Jk, but after how many minutes, he wiggled his tail.

"O ayan. Oka--" He cuts himself by looking at me. "Your wound has blood."

"What?! You're kidding." I look at the wound and it's true it has blood. "Omg! It really hurts." I said furrowing my eyebrows in pain.

"Okay. Uhm... Stay there. I'll get your first aid kit." He said and ran inside the house.

• After few minutes •

He came back handling the first aid box. "Let's clean it." "Okay." He opened the hose and cleaned my wound.

"Yan! Lagyan na natin ng alcohol!" He said handling the alcohol then laughs.

"JK!" I shouted. I almost slapped his face. O___o

"Joke! I know that hurts. I'll put betadine na lang."

"Okay." I agreed. He puts some drops of betadine on a cotton ball then slightly damped it on my wound.

"O ayan tapos na." He said while cleaning the dirts he made. "Thanks." I smiled and helped him.

"I'll just get this back inside." He said.

"Ako na."

"Hindi, ako na, magpahinga ka na lang dyan." I blush. Omg! He really cares! 😍😭😱
