Chapter 18: Couple of the Year

Kristine's POV

It's been a week since me and Jk are official. We were part of the conversation of the other students. They already know that it's just puppy love and they don't take it seriously.

So now, I'm waiting for my friends to come here at the canteen. And I am early, I think.

5 minutes of waiting...

They're aren't here...

10 minutes of waiting...

They are still not here...

15 minutes of waiting...

Finally, they arrived. At last! When they saw me, they keep on saying sorry.

"You know what, if you're not my friends, I'll just scold you like a mother."

"We're sorry." Sandy apologized. And then they just stare at me with this look that you call 'Puppy Eyes'. Yeah. Nice friends huh?

"Okay. I give up. Just make sure that you won't do that again, okay? It's so hard to wait for a couple of minutes in here." They just nod.

They sat on the chairs and talk about ME and Jk.

"So..." Sandy started while wiggling her eyebrows.

"How's your relationship going?" Jane asked.

"It's... Fine. Really fine."

"That's it?" Anna asked.

"Yeah. It's really really fine. He's just so sweet that he always give me a big bouquet of flowers and sometimes Chocolates!" I said dreamily.

"Aww. How sweet." They all said in unison.

"Uh, speaking of him. Where is he?" Jane asked.

"I dunno. He's not even texting me."

"So what are you going to do there? Text HIM!" Jane slightly yelled the last word.

"Okay okay. I'll text him." I said in defense.

When I send it, I smiled widely.

"Uhm, do you have an endearment?" Sandy asked.

"We don't have. Is it needed for a couple?" I answered and asked back.

"Of course." They all said in unison.

"But I don't want endearments. They are common. I'm not fond of those."

"But it's nice. Cause you call each other's name." Jane said.

"Yeah. But I feel something bad that really bothers me a lot." I said.

"What is that?" - Sandy

"I think it's about our relationship." - Me

"Is that so?" - Sandy

"Yeah and as I said, it bothers me a lot, really. I think this relationship... Won't... Last." I said in a worried tone.

"Psh. That's impossible. Your relationship with him will last..." Jane paused.

"Will last?" - Anna

"Forever? If you believe in FOREVER. Hahaha." Jane said in a joking tone.

"Yeah. Forever." - Sandy

"I don't think so." - Me

"You're so negative. You just said that you really really love him. And he's the bet of Tita Jenna for you." - Anna
