Chapter 25: Valentine's Day

Kristine's POV

This day is special. You know why? Cause it's Valentine's Day and it's my first time to celebrate it. Tinutulugan ko lang kasi yan dati.

Jk texted me a while ago and said 'Happy Valentine's Day' and reminded me to wear Red or Pink. You know why? I don't know, also.

He said I have to prepare early and go straight in school. Yeah. We have this so-called 'Valentine's Party' of our school and they require us, couples, to attend the said party. But eventhough other students won't have partners, they should go.

Someone will make a match for them. And Anna belongs there. She will find her forever. I texted them first before I took a bath.

Guys, better get ready now. We have to go on school at 7am. See you all there. AND. Don't forget to bring your PARTNERS with you, except for one. Anna, just... Yeah, just go and get dressed and wear dress girls! Bye. Loveyou 😘

I took my towel and undies with me and headed to my beautiful bathroom. After that, I wore a pink floral dress and a wedge heels that's color white. I fixed my hair, my dress and all things I need to. Just like my phone, other blah blah blah and yeah, I should go fetch my Boyfriend in their house.

*DING DONG!*

The gate opened and I saw Jk, still needing another hours of sleep. I think he didn't sleep at all, and as I saw from his looks right now, he's not ready.

"Good morning, umm... Aren't you going to... you know, prepare?" I asked, calming myself dahil maghihintay ako.

"Uh, what's the occasion?" Right, he doesn't know that it's Valentine's Day. Bakit niya ko grineet? Weird.

"It's Valentine's Day, Jk." I said, making him confused. Then after a few minutes, I think he's processing what I have said.

"Oww. Yeah, we have this Valentine's Party at school, right?" He asked. I just nod. "Uh, come in. I will just prepare, hehe."

I smiled and get inside their house. I sat down their couch and looked at Jk who's currently eating a sandwich right now. Madalian pa nga yung pagnguya niya e.

After about 15 minutes, I think, he's done eating and went upstairs for I am sure he will take a bath.

I'm just waiting here on their couch cause I was shy if I will use their TV. Di ako nagbabayad ng kuryente nila.

It's 6:30 am and still, he doesn't went out of his room. And definitely, we will be late. Baka sabihin nila, paimportante kami masyado.

At kung sinuswerte ka nga naman, someone already texted me. Which is Anna.

Girl, nasa school na kami. Where are you and Jk? The event will start in 30 minutes, I guess. Tinatanong na kayo sakin ni Ms. Santos. Hurry up daw. Reply or else.

Ow yeah. Tama. We're going to be late.

NO. We're late.

I'm on Jk's residence right now and kanina pa kong 6am nandito sa kanila at hindi pa siya lumalabas ng kwarto niya. Sabi niya magreready daw, e 30 minutes na kong naghihintay dito. He almost forgot, no he forgot that it's Valentine's Day today, so please, kindly tell Ms. Santos that we're going to be late. Don't expect that we'll be early. Thanks.
