Chapter 42: Remembering the Past

Jk's POV (finally after nine chapters haha lol)

"Sands! Anna! Halika kayo, dali! You need to see this!" Jane shouted as she was making a kilig tone.

"Ano ba ya--- who is that?" Anna asked in shock. And dahil nga nacurious, I looked at Jane's phone and saw Kris... with a guy... beside her.

Who could that be?

I just looked at Kris' face but not the guy's face. Kaya di ko namukhaan.

Jealousy? No.

Curiosity? Maybe.

And I was just remembering the past back.

It's been six months since... she left.

She left... giving me forgiveness.

But... only forgiveness... not a second chance.

"Hey Jk, are you alright?" Yvonne said, she's our new classmate and my new friend also.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry." I just said and faked a smile.

Plastic. And. Liar. Best description for me.

"Sure?" She ask again.

"Yeah, by the way. Can you join me later?"

"Where?"

"Anywhere."

"Okay. But make sure you won't get inside a bar and drink lots of alcohol." She reminded.

She became my friend four months ago. At first, she was shy... because she was a newbie and she just said that I AM INTIMIDATING! Gosh.

But we just click. We walk by the street every morning or do joggings every mornight. We walk our dogs everytime we are bored. We talk about our secrets and get to know more each other.

She knew. She knew everything... about Kris. About my plan. About our break up. And about the leave of her. She knows everything.

Everything.

Kaya ngayon, she's keeping me comfortable with everything and everyone. She teached me how to move on fast but still, I still love her.

Sabi nga niya, "Alam mo Jekoy, kung patuloy kang magpapadistract sa kahit ano man, you will easily forget her. Everything pati na yung bwisit mong plano noon. Atleast if you meet again, wala ka nang alam sa nangyari noon. The past is past. Forget about it. Move on!"

Tinandaan ko naman yung sinabi niya... PERO HINDI KO MAGAWA!!!

I hate myself for being stupid. Stupid because I let her be like that when we're still in a relationship. Stupid kasi tinuloy ko pa rin kahit na alam kong masasaktan siya in the end.

Hayy, nasa huli nga talaga ang pagsisisi.

"Tara na." I said and walked out of the room.

"Kala ko ba mamaya pa?"

"I want now."

"Jk! Are you serious? May pasok pa tayo!"
