Chapter 11: Birthday Gift for Ate Kath

Kristine's POV

My birthday is 4 months from now. It's on October. I'm really excited for that even if it's matagal pa. Haha. I want to plan for it today. I'M REALLY EXCITED! I really wanna prepare.

"MOM!" I shouted from my room. She hurriedly went upstairs cause I can hear her shoes.

"What? Is there any problem?"

"I just wanna talk about my birthday."

"Kristine, sa October pa yun eh."

"Opo, pero excited na po kasi ako."

She laughs. "I understand. But I'll call your dad first."

"Okay." Then she went outside of my room.

"Thank you Lord! I'm very excited!" I said with a really BIG SMILE.

I tweeted:

@krisTEENjade: Waaahhh!!! I'm so excited for mah birthday! Kahit 4 months pa ang hihintayin ko okay lang. I'M REALLY EXCITED!

After I tweeted that I logged out and opened my Instagram. I received 20 notifications. Follows and likes lang.

Then I logged out again and went to sleep.

I woke up with a loud song coming from my phone. Someone's calling me.

"Hello?" I said in a sleepy voice.

"Hey bestie, how's life?" Jane asked.

"Eto, ang sarap ng tulog ko tapos inistorbo mo." I answered sarcastically.

"Oh sorry, kaya pala di ka nagrereply sa mga replies namin sa tweets mo." She chuckled.

I was shocked. Oo nga pala nagtweet ako, baka kung anong pinagrereply nila dun. "Oh yeah. Bye." I hang up the phone.

I washed my face and opened my account and I received 4 notifications. O_O

@janelicious: You are too much excited. Para namang di ka na makakaabot.

@sandycheeks: You're right @janelicious, but... Parang pareho lang tayo beh @krisTEENjade masyadong excited sa birthday. (A/N: I changed the name of Sandy. 😁)

@janelicious: But she have to prepare for that.

@annaperez: Grabe para namang next week na birthday mo. You're much excited than your Ate Kath. Haha.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Ate's birthday is next week. I'm more excited on my birthday even if it's 4 months from now. But honestly, she's not that excited cause dad is not going home because of work.

I replied on their tweets.

@krisTEENjade: Ganun talaga. I'm turning 10 and I'm excited for it cause dad promised that he will buy me the book that I really wanna buy. #SoExcited

Then suddenly Anna replied.

@annaperez: Okay. Pero dapat ate mo muna unahin mo, malapit na birthday niya friend.

@krisTEENjade: Of course. Actually, bibili na nga ako ng gift para sa kanya mamaya.

@sandycheeks: Bestie, I'll go with ya.

@krisTEENjade: Okay. Wait for you here.

I logged out my Twitter and took a bath. I wore my plain blue dress and sky blue flats. And I wait Sandy to come over.
