She Is Different

"Rhiannon, wake up"
"Rhiannon please wake up" She woke up screaming, looking around and flinching from the touch of Luna. "Rhiannon, you were screaming, I came down into the common room and you were laying here screaming, you woke up everyone"
"Oh, I- Im so sorry, It must have been a bad dream," Rhiannon said wiping her eyes
"Why are you down here anyways?" Luna asked
"Fell asleep maybe, I don't remember"
She stood up, swaying side to side, feeling dizzy
"You don't look so good, when was the time you ate?" Luna stabilized her "Uh yesterday morning, I think" She respond sitting on the sofa
"Rhiannon you are starving! I will fetch you some tea and muffins" She quickly rushed out of the common room. Rhiannon just sat there overthinking her terrible dream, all she remembered was their faces, their eyes, thinking how she was the strongest one there but still felt so weak to them. She started to tear up, feeling the cut on her neck, the pain made her eyes squeeze tighter, remembering all of the fear she felt. "Alright I got you some tea and muffins, now please eat," Luna said running into the common room, hands full of muffins "Thank you, Luna"
"Were you crying?" Luna asked "No, I just yawned"
"Rhiannon, I know you're lying, tell me what happened" She sat down next to Rhiannon, giving her a muffin "Well, eat this first then tell me of course" She ate the muffin in a heartbeat, realizing how hungry she really was "Now tell me"
"Well, yesterday in potions I kinda got heated at Goyle, he said some things and I ran off into the forest, minding my business, and then these two men appeared" Rhiannon took a deep breath "They attacked me, I tried my hardest to save myself without hurting them, but in the end I killed them, I didn't have a choice Luna they were going to kill me" She put her head into her palms, crying.
"Rhiannon im so sorry, it wasn't your fault," Luna hugged her "And then I find out from Severus that Draco's father was the one who sent them"
"Why would he do that?"
"I guess for the Dark Lord" She sat up and faced Luna "Im just so scared Luna, Im scared to go anywhere alone now"
"I will make sure you are never alone, someone will always be with you, I'll make sure of it"
She gave Luna a smile "Thank you"
"Now eat more muffins" She shoved muffins on her lap "Okay okay" She ate every single muffin.
Rhiannon got dressed, putting a turtle neck on to hide the cuts, she couldn't wear her robe because she forgot it in the forest, same with her shoes, so she had to wear her other ones. She was still full from the muffins Luna gave her so she skipped breakfast and decided to go to potions early to find a good spot in the classroom. The class was empty as she walked in, Severus was still setting up the lesson for the day "Morning Rhiannon, it's very early to be here is it not" He said organizing the potion bottles "I wasn't hungry this morning so I just came here early," She placed her books on the table, taking a seat "Well how are you feeling today"
"Still overwhelmed, nothing new I suppose" She looked down at her lap "Oh I almost forgot, here you go" He walked over put her robe on the desk
"You found it, thank you Severus" She grabbed it, putting it on "Oh and my shoes, did you find those"
"Oh yes" He walked over to his desk and grabbed her shoes "Thank you"
"Rhiannon, I want you to know that there is nothing to be scared about, you are protected here, as long as you don't pull your fit yesterday and leave, unattended"
"Im sorry, that idiot was getting on my nerves"
"Who may that be"
"Goyle, he is a Slytherin, he commented about my parents and I was just fed up with him"
"I see, what did he say exactly"
"He said that im a mud blood and that I don't have parents, which is untrue, right Severus?"
As he was about the answer, students started to pile into the classroom. She tried not to make eye contact with anyone in case she accidentally made eye contact with Goyle or even Malfoy.
"There you are," Hermione said as she sat next to her "Sorry I wasn't hungry so I came early"
"That's all right, there wasn't anything good anyway" Rhiannon noticed Draco was sitting at the table across from her, she fidgeted with her fingers as Severus babbled on about potions and things that were not important to her at the moment. She started scratching at her neck "Why wear that ugly sweater if it's itchy?" Hermione whispered as she laughed "Because I don't want to see the cut, let alone others seeing it"
"Understandable, hopefully it doesn't scar"
"Yeah" She laughed it off, putting her head down on her books, trying to hold in tears.
