Rhiannon walked to the Great Hall after class, starving since she couldn't eat breakfast. Her thoughts still roamed and ate at her. Hurtful, degrading thoughts. Was she really worth of loving or to be loved? he probably didn't care anyway. She was interrupted when her arm was pulled into a dark corner, Draco. "What the hell!" She pulled her arm away from his grip "Rhiannon, i'm sorry" She looked up at him, rubbing the arm he grabbed "I understand you are sorry but that doesn't change how you treated me Draco, I don't deserve it" He looked down, putting his hands in his pockets "I understand. You don't have to forgive me or be with me anymore. I feel alone and insane when I am not near you, I can't live like this, constant fear of losing you, fear of rejection, fear of you. Rhiannon, everything I have done is for you and I will not let it all go to waste. I love you and I promise on my mother's soul I will never raise my voice or hurt your precious heart again, if I do, kill me" His silver eyes started to leak tears and so did hers. "Is that really how you feel?" She gave a warm smile "Yes" He breathed deeply "I accept your apology, thank you" He walked closer to her, leaning down "Do you want to go to Hogsmeade with me?" He asked her "For what?" He laughed "Whatever you want Rhiannon" He admired every feature of her face "Sure, I really would like a new dress" He smiled and straightened his back "Done, you can get any dress you want"
"I know we are keeping this a secret but I really don't want to talk here anymore, being pulled into some dusty corner" She laughed, crossing her arms "Where would you like to talk then?" She thought for a second "Astronomy tower?" She said "I suppose, it is really peaceful up there" Draco just stared at her with a smile "What?" She asked "Nothing, just looking at you"
"Is there a bug on me or something?"
"No, no bug. Just you" Her stomach fluttered and her cheeks got red "When are we leaving?"
"Whenever you want"
"Now?"
"What about your classes?" She really loved it when he cared "They can wait" She smiled, walking out from the corner and going to the front of the school, waiting for him to get there. She kept watching her surroundings in case, she didn't know why she did, she was always on edge. "Psst" She heard next to her, It was Draco hunched by a bush, she rolled her and smiled. She walked down the stairs and grabbed his hand "Come on" Feeling his hand brought her so much joy. Oh, how she missed feeling his hands. There he went doing that thumb thing she loved. "How did you sleep?" Draco asked her as he rubbed her hand with his thumb, he should know how her sleep went, it was terrible. "It was good, you?" She lied "Mine was not the best of sleep but I did have a dream about you"
"I hope I had clothes on" They both laughed "Yes you had clothes on......unfortunately" She slapped his arm "Hey, dont be a perv" She said
"Anyway, my dream was you, dancing in a field of roses, wearing a beautiful white dress. You looked so free and beautiful. I loved it" He looked down at her as they walked "Sounds like a good dream, I would make it come true for you I just don't know where to get the field of roses though" He looked back up "Oh darling, I already have the dream right here" A smile covered his face and he rubbed her hand with his thumb once more. She was serious, she could make it come true. "Did you have any dreams, Rhiannon?" I She hesitated before she said yes, she did have dreams but her dreams were far more dark and depressing than his of her bringing his peace. Hers were the opposite of peace. "No, no dreams" She looked down at her feet "I know you had one dream at least, wait did I have my clothes off?"
"No" She giggled "It's just my dreams were the opposite of yours, mine were not very good" She rested her head onto his arm "What were they?" He asked, worried "Just things that bother me and things I've been through. Dreaming about them really makes it feel more real and scary" He stopped walking and stood in front of her "Listen, I know I say this a lot but you are meant to be here, you are strong and what you went through because of Lucius and Voldemort is because they fear how great you are becoming, they aren't better than you and I need you to see that you will always be better than them" He placed a hand on her cheek "Rhiannon Black, you are what I worship, not Voldemort, not Lucius, you" She looked into his desperate eyes she felt like she shouldn't be looked up to like that, she was no leader, she was just a girl who had a shitty life. They arrived at Hogsmeade and walked to the dress shop, she had a white dress in mind. "Are you sure I can get a dress?" She walked down the rows of dresses, picking up a dress here and there "Yes, anything you want" He had his hands in his pockets, looking like a lost dog, following her around "So does it feel odd being back and everyone seeing you?" She asked "Well, I do get lots of looks and whatever, but I am glad I'm back with you, making sure you are safe"
"I don't always need your protection Malfoy, I just let myself be saved by you, make it easy for you" She laughed, grabbing a white dress, flowy and silky, it was perfect. "I doubt that's why but I'm a gentleman so whatever the lady says, goes" She shook her head "This one" She held the dress up to show him "That one is really nice, you want it?" His voice went soft "Yes" She wrapped it around her arm "What do you say?" He tilted his head and smirked "Please..?" She gave a huge smile, making eye contact "You are so adorable. Come on" She followed him with the dress in her hands, placing it on the counter, the clerk nodded his head and took the dress in the back. Draco pulled out his money "You don't have to buy me this you know" He looked down at her "When will you stop being so stubborn and let me spoil you. All I want to hear that leaves your lips is Thank you" She rolled her eyes "Thank you Draco" She swung her arms behind her back, the clerk walked out from the back with a black box with a green bow, he placed it on the counter and smiled at Rhiannon "So this is the lucky lady you bought the other dress for I take it?" She grabbed the box off the counter and smiled to herself, knowing Draco must be flustered and shy. "Yeah, here, keep the change" He passed the clerk the money and smiles as he puts it in the register. They walked toward the door, Draco opened it and her ears rung with the sound of the door charm ringing from the open door "Thank you" She said then looked up, her eyes widened and she froze. "Rhiannon, what is it?" Draco stood next to her, looking down at her, her body started to shake from anxiety and fear, her breathing started to quicken. "Rhiannon, look at me, what is around" He stood in front of her and grabbed her face but her eyes didn't move "It's...them," She said under her breath "Who?" He looked behind him to try and scanned the crowd "Rhainnon who? talk to me" He looked back at her "The men who were with your father, the men who carved me, the ones in all black" She pointed toward two men. Draco stood up straight and looked behind him again, he locked eyes with the two men walking around, stealing things from the shops. "Please don't do anything" She whispered to him, still trying to control her anxiety "Are you sure those are them" She held in her tears "Yes...I am sure"

His eyes stayed focused on the two men, rage filled his body. He put his hands in my pockets, gripping his knife, fantasizing about slitting their throats, choking them and carving their skin. The look on Rhiannon's face was an expression he had never seen before, pure terror and fear. He never wanted her to feel that way ever again, she was too pure for this. He watched the men walk into a run down motel, they really didn't care being out in the public, he would use that to his advantage. "Draco, please don't do anything" She tugged on his arm, breaking the sight he had of the men and looked down at her "Okay" He lied.
