Part 8 Chapter 50B The End of Hostilities

Imperial Palace, Milishial VIII Office.

The HME leader was meeting his guests, the HME prime minister and the foreign minister, who had just arrived from the Palpadia Empire. They discussed the events in Esthirant, the war with the Annonrial Empire, and Gra Valkas.

"I want a report from Esthirant. What happened there, because there are so many conflicting versions of information that it is very confusing." Milishial VIII said

The foreign minister also gave a fairly detailed report on the events in Esthirant. However, he was unaware of the events that transpired after the arrival of the Myto Empire ships, as his plane had departed for HME after a delay of nearly 6 hours.

"So it is true that the Myto Empire has ships that can fly through the air like the Pal Chimera with a much larger size than the Pal Chimera, huh?" said Milishial VIII.

"That's right, Your Highness. As you also know, those are not airships, but rather spaceships because they arrive from above, not horizontally." The foreign minister said.

"I wonder what the combat power of those ships is." The prime minister said.

"We already know that, don't we? Similar ships have appeared in both the Annonrial Empire and Gra Valkas. They suffered defeat just a few hours later." Milishial VIII said.

"We got word from our ambassador in Esthirant who heard from the Myto Empire ambassador at Empress Elto's palace that the largest ship called a star destroyer is capable of destroying the surface of a planet until no life exists on that planet in just a matter of hours." The foreign minister said.

"Can you destroy the planet in a matter of hours?" Milishial VIII expressed his disbelief in the foreign minister's words.

"That's right, your highness. All the countries seemed to have suppressed the information out of concern for its public impact. Nobody, not even the Revernal Empire, can fight the Myto Empire. They could only have core magic that one weapon could destroy a city. But of course it doesn't have enough to destroy the whole of Elysia until it becomes sterile." The foreign minister said.

"We expected their technological advancement, but I didn't imagine how terrifying their weaponry would be." Milishial VIII said.

"Moreover, their explanation gave us the impression that they possess weapons far more potent, capable of destroying the entire planet." The foreign minister said.

"What, destroy a planet?" asked the prime minister.

Everyone fell silent at the report. In the past, they had underestimated the Myto Empire, even before this report, they had still somewhat underestimated the Myto Empire, assuming that their weapons were just powerful magic cores that might be possessed in large numbers.
