He just nodded his head again smiling.
"Yeah right. In what world?"
Cade walked out the locker room with his book and only his towel wrapped around his waist.
I was rummaging through The League finding anyone I could talk to.
[Library]
I was in the library, hoping my old teacher would help me get released.
Someone brushed beside me and handed the librarian a book.
Mono.
"So you don't read one book?"
She fake smiled, brushing me off.
The librarian handed her another.
"Good choice!" The librarian said, scanning her book.
She didn't even thank her.
I don't think I ever saw her in the most basic getup ever. Just a dark blue droopy shirt and black jeans.
[..In the hallway]
I didn't see her.
I turned around to leave-
"Don't start following me."
She walked away.
[..In my room]
I started staring at the ceiling thinking of her.
How different she was.
How she talked to me differently.
How you could never tell what she was truly feeling.
Sometimes you could only guess what she was thinking.
She felt like.. this constant reminder that even after all I've been through, I still couldn't have what I wanted.
Like I was undeserving of simple kindness.
Alice gave me kindness.

"Do you want bologna or ham Casper?" Jade kept being put on long term missions.
"I want her" I muttered.
"Who? Alice? I'm sorry Hare.." Jade said, sitting down. She was always feeling sorry for me.
I sat my tray on the table, but walked away.
I was heading to the restroom.
I only washed my hands.
I looked at my own reflection in the mirror.
When I was disappointed I broke it with my hand.
A girl rushed out the stall, startled.

Mono stopped Henry outside the women's restroom.
She stared at him.
"Why did you think I wouldn't kill you?"
Henry looked confused when he didn't know how to answer.
Jade walked up.
"Hare.." she said. "Let's go," she said, grabbing him by the arm, giving Mono a strange look.
