Chapter 43: All is lost is not forgotten

Henry walked in on Heelix's training. He wanted some answers about the note.

Heelix was boxing in the ring until he noticed Henry.

"What?" He said, patting his sweaty face dry with a towel. "What did you mean by the memories were real?" "A note for you." Henry was handed a letter by a man dressed in a burgundy suit. It was stamped with a red M. "From Myers." Henry said, opening it.

"It concerns me dear Henry that you have injured yourself and taken a liking to Mono. I'm aware of every encounter you have had with her. I am not writing this letter to shun you, rather to inform you of minor details you are not aware of.."

Myers wrote a list of Mono's secrets.

"It all ends in crimson blood."

I thought of Genevieve and I thought of her spying on me in the shop. She was Myers' spy.

Henry stormed out.

Heelix read the letter over Henry's shoulder.

Mono slammed Heelix to the wall with her hand around his neck.

"I trusted you, but all you did was LIE like everyone else!" "Let go of me Mono." He pled unbothered. "TELL ME WHY!" She screamed. Heelix moved her hands from his collar. "How are you so certain it was me?" Mono slapped him. He fell to the floor and confessed.

"If I let you continue on with it, Myers would have punished you. Better I tell him then he find on his own." He said with his hands up.

She thought to herself.

"And Henry was in the ICU. Does that concern you?"

She looked at Heelix.

"This deal you made for Henry. It's something none of us would take. He forgot to tell you about him. It will end badly."

Mono rolled her eyes.

"I suggest you negotiate terms. Now before it's too late."

Mono walked out with her black heels clicking the floor.

"You!" Henry slammed Geneviene against the wall.
"Tell me HUH! It was YOU!"

Geneviene was frightened and almost cried.

"I would never. What are you talking about Henry?!" "Don't feed me LIES. Tell me the TRUTH!"

Geneviene teared.

"I would never cross you."

Henry couldn't hear a word.

He let go of her and left.

She rubbed her neck from all the tension she felt from Henry's arms.

Henry looked at Heelix not caring because he could hardly make out the words he spoke.

"I wish I could explain to you Henry but I can't. It would just all confuse you."

(A knock at the door)

It was Rosetta.

"And what are you doing here?" "Don't be unwelcoming. And plus I'm not alone." Ajita was behind her. "If you wish to take down Myers I'm all ears."

She smiled like the devil.

"We can't trust her. She works with Michael." "I know." Heelix said stopping Henry from saying something that could be overheard.

He wrote something down for him to read.

Ajita walked over. "If you're writing secret letters for me not to overhear because you cannot trust me, it'll only slow us down." "We're not. Henry has some deafness going on." Ajita looked amused. She sat with them. "If we're all going to take down Myers we have to work together." "And what's your motive?" Henry asked. Ajita looked at Henry pleased, then took the white board out of Heelix's hands.
