I read one last final poem from Amari.
..
"Commit to the I.. I want to live. That is something I can not commit to.. I want to fly. That is simply something I can not achieve.. I want to grow. There is something I allow myself to be bound to.. If I release myself from the normal constraints that come with the life I am supposed to cherish then I can fly like a bird.. Without judgment, without shame, and without guilt I will be free. I shatter to the rocks like a psychiatric patient crushing his skull. My soul was already crushed."
..
If it wasn't the water crushing me against the rocks. Water could become quite peaceful. Maybe I forgave myself so I could pass on..

Henry fell back first into the water 22 meters high.

The waves kept him underwater.

I thought.

What if I am still alive after all of this?

I wouldn't tell a soul.

That would be too embarrassing to tell someone I tried to kill myself.. And in the ocean at that.

Falling off the cliff reminded me of that butterfly..

If I were a butterfly I could change my mind, last second and just fly.

(The waves become more heavy keeping Henry underwater as he tried swimming to the dry surface)

Maybe I changed my mind or maybe I didn't want to accept death.

The same monarch butterfly that landed on my towel.

The same hope for change I once had.

(Henry panicked under the water when he got flipped over)

If I die on a day like this. Alice would be ashamed.

A beautiful day to waste.

Henry blacked out. His body drifted to sea.

A beautiful creature pulled Henry from the water.

She laid her eyes on him and saw what she hadn't seen in a long time.

A beautiful soul.

She calmed the waters.

An angel kissed me.

Athea smiled.

"Take me to Alice." Henry murmured.

He passed out.
..
Athea was playing with the water bent over as Henry began to wake on the shore. He approached her and saw her playing with small colorful fishes. They swam away changing back to normal colors as soon as Henry came.

"I was almost free." Henry said towering Athea.

She smiled and stood up, dusting the sand from her skirt. "You are Henry." "And where's Alice?" "I don't know who she is." "Then you don't know me."

He began to walk away.

"What did she mean to you?"

Henry stood still.

"Everything."
..
They sat on the sand eating oysters.

"Were you hoping to fly like the birds one day?" "Or a butterfly." "Or swim like a dolphin." Athea laughed. Henry became more intrigued by Athea. "You have this awful unique beauty to you but you look so recognizable." She beamed. "I don't know if you really saved me though. I still want to die." "I can help with that." Athea smiled again.
..
Henry gazed into the sun's eye to see beautiful rays of sunshine sprinkle down on him. "One of the beautiful parts of being superhuman.. You can look into the sun." Athea appreciated Henry's chocolate eyes. She held him up with her hands as he floated in the water.
