the break up pt1

Okay, so starting off. We all remember kye yes? Okay, good. Well, a couple of months before school started, we broke things off, and then school started, and we were sorta talking, but not really. I ended up getting back in touch with my friend, and him and I have been talking A LOT so much, so I was my date to the schools homing dance. Now I never gold Kye bc honestly it's none of their business what goes on in my life. We broke up, and yeah. And so then fast forwarding a little bit, I ended up getting this huge crush on my friend. His name is Tanner, I'll have a chapter about him, lol. And I started pulling away from Kye more and more. Like I'd leave her on read or on delivered for hours, and I would be dry when texting. Yeah, it was a lot. But I mean, come on, I spent years putting up with shit from her of being blamed for things and being treated badly, so I started this book, and she only got worse lol but whatever and so over time I started treating her how'd she treat me and come homecoming night, I'm with my girls and were getting ready and then we go to the dance and Tanner meets us there right? The hole fucking night Kye was randomly texting me now mind you I had her mutted because I didn't want to deal with it. I was gonna have a good time, and that's what I did. I had my sound on my phone in case my mom called. Otherwise, Tanner had my phone in his pocket bc I didn't wanna deal with it. And at random, I'd get my phone back and check random things and take pictures and respond back to people lol, and then I'd give it back to Tanner. It wasn't his choice he just had pockets, and the dress I was wearing didn't have pockets:( so there's that. Anyways, fast-forward Tanner and I danced a lot together, which is surprising bc I hate dancing, nor do I know how too but I did, and it was actually a lot of fun tbh. I kept ignoring kye for the most part bc I didn't wanna deal with it, yk? Like, I just wanted a good night, and that's what I got. Fast forwarding again we were up in the bleachers of the dance and I had my head on tanners shoulder and he had his hand on my knee and then later on he took my friends and me home and he drives BTW. But in the car we were holding hands and then we dropped my friends off and he took me to my place and he kissed me in the car. And I went to sleep happy. We talked for a while afterward and then eventually went to bed. Told my mom all about it the day after
I even told my about kye and me, and she wanted me to go out, which is what I did, and she was glad I finally told her 3 yrs later, lmao. And then the next few days flew by quickly, and I still really wasn't talking to kye much.
