Klaus's POV:

I stand outside next to the black sedan staring into the back passenger seat where an unconscious Bonnie is starting to come to. Lorelei paces back and forth at the front of the car. Elena Gilbert had been discreetly moved to the mansion cellar. Now her unconscious body lies in a cell right next to Stefan. I focus my attention and listen to Bonnie's breathing. A slow even pace. I hear Lorelei's heart hammering away as she continues to pace about back and forth.

"Love, will you relax?" I ask

She doesn't respond.

This time, I speed over just as she turns around to walk back in the other direction. I take her hands in mine but she pulls away. I grab again this time keeping a tighter hold. She tries again but fails then glares at me, no doubt enraged that I'd broken her spiral.

"What?" She demands

"How long has it been since you last fed love?"

She shakes her head and looks away.

"Then what is it?" I ask

She scoffs and whips her head back to face me again.

"Do you think I'm stupid? You've had me stockpiling vampires all over town for you. Now we're making more hybrids?" She demands in an accusing tone

"We will speak of this later." I say in a warning tone

"No! I want to know what's going on!"

"You will not say another word on the subject." I say compelling her

I release her.

For a moment she stands there dazed under the compulsion. When she snaps out of it a second later, she gives me a death stare.

"Go find a body to drain then come back here." I tell her

"Whatever you say, Your Majesty." She replies and walks off

Lorelei's POV:

I walk along the road looking around.

Other than the cheerleaders, there hadn't been many people around.

Making my way to the Mystic Grill, I stop when I see a man walking out of the bar and down through an alleyway. Smirking, I follow. I move quietly, watching intently. Deciding I'd rather just have a meal rather than spend the time to truly enjoy the chase, I decide to at least enjoy it a bit. Speeding up to him I slam the man against a brick walled house. The brick chips away a bit and scatters to the pavement. The man stares back at me, his blue eyes wide with fear.

I look into his eyes and compel him not to scream.

Whatever Nik was planning, I knew better than to draw unnecessary attention. I feel the fangs extend from inside my gums.

A sudden, blinding pain hits me and I looked down to see a steak in my chest. I looked back at my pray, and he stares at me with hatred.

A vampire Hunter.

" you missed." I tell him

I see the fear flash overzealous, but in an instant, I'm on top of him again. Quickly I grab a hold of his wrist and push. I hear a sickening snap and the man yells out in pain.

Vervain too.

Shame.

With a groan I yank the stake out.

Sighing, I snap the man's neck and walk off.

Further down the road, I find another person .

A woman sitting at the bench in the town Square.

I repeat the same previous action, making my way up to her quickly, and compelling her. I think my teeth into her soft flesh, this time feeling the warm liquid flow down my throat. I continue to feed. Normally I would feed until my prey's pulse begins to slow then I would pull back and heal them with my own blood. For a moment I think about turning her and tossing her body into a dumpster. I'd find her later. After a moment's thought I decide against it.

I continue to drain her long after her pulse stops.

Until I know what Nik is planning, I don't want to give him more ammunition.

Klaus's POV:

I watch as Bonnie's eyes open.

"Glad for you to rejoin the party." I say

She looks around, alarmed.

"Where's Elena?" She demands

"Easy love. Luckily for you I need her to remain alive so I can msk more hybrids. What happens afterwards depends on your behavior right now. I'll make it simple. You are going to perform a few barrier spells for me. The Salvatore House and the Town Hall."

Her look of hatred turns to confusion.

"Why would you need the Salvatore house?" She asks

I smirk.

"In all of your past three weeks of schooling, daydreaming, spell casting or cheering, did it ever occur to you as to where the youngest Salvatore brother went?" I ask

"What did you do to Stefan?" She demands

"Stefan will not be harmed unless you choose not to cooperate. See my plans have been at work for a while now. Stefan was taken right under your noses and no one was the wiser. Why? Simple. I had one of my hybrids pay the lovely Elena a visit one night. A simple rip of the necklace and she was easily compelled to keep Damon happy and to not question Stefan's disappearance. Now the two are enjoying the accommodations of my dungeon."
Now you need me to keep Damon out of the way. I gave Stefan my wolf that I wouldn't kill his brother and I'd hate to break my word."

Bonnie and I make our way to the front of the Salvatore House.

Listening in, I can hear the faint sound of Damon's heartbeat.

"Do it." I tell her

Bonnie closes her eyes, holding her hands out in front of her, chanting quietly. After a moment she turns around to face me.

"It's done."

"Wonderful. On to the next."
