Lorelei's POV:

I stand by the black sedan waiting for them to return.

I watch as Bonnie makes her way back over with Nik following closely behind. I wonder what he needed a witch for. Between the vampires and hybrids he's stockpiling, he could be preparing for anything.

Is he planning a massacre of Mystic Falls?

I stare at him but he just stares back at me.

"Are we done now?" Bonnie asks turning to him

"You and I are, yes. Keep the spells in place until I return with Elena. Betray me and she dies." He tells her

Bonnie holds out her arms that are still shackled.

"You'll figure it out." Nik says

He gestures for me to get in the car and I do, still very annoyed that he's compelling me and keeping me in the dark as to whatever this plan is. He's had me running all over the town but won't say a word.

I stare out the window as we make our way through the town and back to the house. I don't say a word even as he parks. I Colombian out and make my way towards the house. At least the party Rebekah is going to have will be fun. Something enjoyable. Anything beats running around like a crazy person for Nik.

I hear the music blaring from inside the house.

I smile.

Time for fun.

Before I can get to the door, Nik cuts me off, speeding in front of me.

"No." I say walking past him

He grabs my arm.

"It isn't over yet Lorelei."

I continue towards the door, fed up with the day and him,

"Yes it is Nik. I'm done."

"I need you-" He begins

"No you don't." I reply walking in and closing the door behind me

Not wasting any time, I sink my teeth into the first person I find.

She screams causing everyone to look over.

"What the bloody hell is going on?" Rebekah asks appearing

"I'm eating." I reply going back to my meal

"The humans have been compelled. Just don't create a body count." Rebekah says

I give her a thumbs up.

Later on in the night the party moves outdoors. I dance with the music, enjoying the peace of the moonlight.

The music switches to a slower song and I make my way to the table full of bottles of alcohol. I feel someone snatch my hand and pull me away. Turning to see who'd snatched me, I see Nik. Annoyed, I pull away. His smile fades and he asks for just one dance.

"Why don't you just compel it out of me?" I growl and walk away

Rebekah's POV:

I sigh as I watch Lorelei storm off.

Klaus grabs a bottle of bourbon and takes a swig.

"Things might be easier if you just tell her." I say from behind me

He scoffs.

"Strongly disagree. Where Lorelei is concerned, I may be getting ready to slaughter the town or bring my army elsewhere. She's made it clear she doesn't wish to be here."

"So set her free then Nik."

"She may be a hybrid now but she made a deal when we met. Lorelei is just to stubborn to accept the hybrid nature she bright upon herself."

We both look at Lorelei who is now dancing with a young woman. They laugh as she spins her around. Then Lorelei brushes the woman's hair from her neck and gently sinks her teeth in.

"I don't think that's it." I say

Klaus turns to me, looking annoyed.

"Wolves have a hierarchy. She's just being a stubborn brat."

I stare at Lorelei who looks happy for once.

I just hope for both their sakes that this doesn't turn into a bloodbath.
