After a few hours of sleep, I woke up because there was a lot of movement next to me. When I turned around, I saw Jungkook drenched in sweat, trembling and wrapped in the blanket. He seemed terribly cold, and when I looked around for Seokjin, he wasn't there. Without thinking much about it, I unwrapped the fairy from the blanket and scooted closer to Jungkook. I then wrapped the blanket around both of us and pulled him into my arms, wanting to share my body heat with him. I myself was a born vampire, never going through the agonies of transformation, but I remembered the time when Seokjin lay next to me, shaking so much that the bed was shaking too. He looked terrible, and despite our bond, I was afraid he wouldn't make it through. But by now, I knew... humans had a harder time during transformation because they were the only race that didn't possess magical powers. Every single one we had abducted and transformed from another race had an easier time. Slowly, the trembling subsided a bit, and Jungkook's curled-up wings produced some fairy dust that now shimmered around us... great... glitter in bed. Seokjin would be thrilled; he loved everything that glittered. I attributed it to human greed, but he just said that he looked better with shiny things... I had no response to that anymore.

"I knew it... you warmed me back then too," I heard Jin say as he entered the room again. In his hand, he held a bowl of warm water and some soft towels. Did he actually cut up one of his warm cloaks for this? He placed the items on the table next to the bed and went to stoke the fireplace, adding more wood before coming to the bed to lie down on Jungkook's other side. He took one of the towels and dampened it before gently dabbing the fairy's forehead, then soaking and wringing it out before placing it carefully on the freshly cleaned spot. Then he undressed completely and also got under the blanket, where he embraced Jungkook as well. The youngest one was producing fairy dust again, and Jin looked at him admiringly. I couldn't help but smirk, but I hid my mouth under the blanket, not wanting Seokjin to see. He would get a big ego boost every time I wasn't cold towards him, and I didn't see why... even though he deserved a reward right now for taking care of the youngest one so well, even though he initially didn't want him with us.

"It would help him more if we undressed both him and you... then the body heat will transfer better," he explained, and I nodded in agreement. I wasn't shy; after all, they were my partners, and even though I still wanted to make them suffer, it wasn't in a physical way. I would never allow any harm to come to any of my partners. Except for Jin, the sons of the races hadn't done anything wrong, so it was only fair that they submit to me. The ones who should suffer were their parents, their races, who would lose their ruler, those who had caused us pain. Unfortunately, the six princes would be affected as well, but that didn't mean I couldn't make it pleasant for them here. Except for Seokjin... I would make him suffer. Unfortunately, in 57 years, I hadn't been able to truly make him suffer because either my vampire hormones wouldn't let me or he did something sweet or funny that softened me towards him. I hated it. I hated how he made my heart race when he got close to me, how good he tasted, how much I wanted him when I drank his blood. And there was nothing that could break his spell over me. Except killing him, but just the thought of not having him by my side anymore sent me into a panic, and my heart constricted painfully. Despite everything, he was mine, and there was no negotiation about ever letting him go.

"You're right, Jinnie... help me undress him," I agreed with him and saw his lips curl up as the nickname slipped out, one that I usually only used in my head...
