"I don't want to share you... why do you even have to bring the Fairy Prince into this? I am enough..." I rolled my eyes in annoyance as Jin continued to whine incessantly.
"Enough, Seokjin... you have no say in deciding who I include in the bond. Just because you had the sole privilege for 57 years doesn't mean you get to make decisions. Know your place," I reprimanded him.
"My place is by your side," he pouted. Taking a deep breath, I tried not to lose my patience.
"You are by my side. What more do you want?" I asked him, looking into his eyes curiously, to which he smiled slightly... he was so easily satisfied...
"But if he's there, then you won't need me anymore," he pouted his sensual lips, which I wanted to kiss so badly, and at the same time, I wanted to slap myself for being weak for him again.
"You are my mate, I cannot exist without you, whether I want to or not," I explained to him.
"But he will replace me... will you just let me die then?" he asked sadly.
"Seokjin... stop being so dramatic... your punishment is to stay by my side forever... as my slave... The Princes are added to the bond, they don't replace anyone... besides, they are not only my mates but also yours..." I reassured him, looking at him confused as he happily took my hand.
"So, I will be able to stay with you for eternity?" he asked happily, and I had to suppress a smirk.
"You have to," I corrected him.
"As your husband," he swooned.
"As my slave," I contradicted him, but he just giggled.
"It's the same thing, darling," he explained and raised an eyebrow.
"If you want to keep your tongue, never call me that again," I grimaced in disgust.
"Apologies, my queen..." he obediently bowed his head, and I almost ran my fingers through his silky locks but managed to restrain myself.
"I'm leaving now..." I didn't know why I suddenly felt the need to inform him, I never said goodbye before leaving the castle, but somehow it felt right now. Since the death of my parents, I had become cold, serious, no longer the cheerful princess loved by all; now I was the ruthless queen feared by everyone. But deep inside me, that young girl wasn't dead; she was still there... and occasionally her nature emerged, revealing a tiny soft spot for my husband... Nevertheless, I left him lying on the bed without looking back and made my way to the stable where my black stallion was already prepared. I mounted him and rode off, urging my horse faster and faster until we reached the border of the hidden forest where an invisible enchantment formed a barrier preventing anyone from entering our hideout.
From the outside, all one could see was an illusion, overgrown and impassable terrain that emitted an eerie aura, triggering a sense of reluctance in anyone who came near. The camouflage was perfect. Without hesitation, my horse entered the Elven Forest that bordered our territory. I veered to the right, far away from any Elven cities; I didn't want to be seen by them until they had a Prince of their own. The Fairy realm was a two-hour ride from here, and the Prince would be alone in three hours. My scouts had meticulously studied his daily routine, and the time he spent by the lake was his unobserved opportunity to snatch him. The landscape, which had just been a dense, dark forest, now became lighter and brighter. The fragrant pine forest gave way to a more colorful deciduous forest, with flowers blooming everywhere and a generally positive atmosphere. The land of the Fairies... as a child, I loved being here, playing with the young Fairy Princesses who were my friends until the day their people betrayed mine. One of the Princesses, Laina, one of my closest playmates, now had a son, Prince Jungkook... According to my scouts, he was supposed to be very handsome; apparently, all the Fairy ladies were enchanted by his appearance and he would soon be getting married. I had to prevent that; he belonged to me.
"Don't look so angry; you're too beautiful for such a grim expression," I suddenly heard next to my ear, which startled me because my horse was so large that no one could walk beside me. Turning my head, I saw the male Fairy fluttering beside me. I slowed down the gallop and eventually came to a stop, looking at him with interest; his handsome face was quite pleasant to behold. It couldn't be Jungkook yet; I hadn't reached the lake yet, and he wasn't supposed to arrive for another hour and a half. But he was as beautiful as the Prince had been described to me.
"Who are you to address me so informally?" I asked him, feeling puzzled.
"I am a Prince; I can talk to you however I want," he laughed.
"And I am a Queen," I frowned at him.
"Yes, of course you are. The Queen of my heart. Listen, my mother is forcing me to marry a Fairy, but I have a pollen allergy, and female Fairies spread pollen everywhere... please take me with you... you're the first woman with whom I don't have to sneeze," he pleaded with me, and annoyed, I shook my head.
"I have to go; I don't have time for you." I urged my horse forward, but he didn't give up. "Where are you going?" he simply flew leisurely beside me.
"To my future husband," I tried to dismiss him.
"Oh really? Who's the lucky one that I have to fight?" he continued questioning.
"Prince Jungkook." Maybe that would scare him off, but instead, I heard his bell-like laughter.
"So you are taking me with you after all," he said cheekily, grinning.
"How did you come up with that idea?" Why was I still talking to him?
"Well, my sweet fiancée... you wouldn't want to leave your future husband hanging, would you? Hi, my name is Jeon Jungkook." He smiled and extended his hand, which I now stared at in confusion... I didn't have to kidnap him? This crazy Fairy wanted to come willingly?
