Hoseok POV
I walked quickly towards the kitchen, looking for the only other witch I knew. This problem had to be fixed somehow, I was almost going crazy with desire right now. Since I was in such a hurry, hoping the distance would help me a little, I almost knocked over two servants and destroyed a vase, which clattered to the floor when I hit it with my knee. Simply ignoring the shards, I kept running, sensing that Y/N was now drinking from Jimin too, could almost taste the blood on my tongue and definitely felt the passion building higher and higher between them. I put distance between us faster and faster, but it didn't help, it was as if I couldn't escape no matter how far I ran. I realized that Hongjoong was no longer in the kitchen at this hour, I hoped to find him in his room and when I got there, I knocked impatiently on the door.
"Hoseok... what...?" he probably tried to ask me what I was doing here, but I just barged past him into his room and stopped in front of a shelf full of potions.
"Hongjoong... please... give me something... numb me... it won't go away... I have to sleep until it's over..." I said desperately and he quickly took a bottle, which he opened and held out to me.
"Drink it all, but lie down on my bed first, it's so...." unfortunately, I drank it the moment I had it in my hand and within seconds my eyes went black.
"Well... awake again?" I heard Hongjoong's voice and rubbed my eyes, yawning. When I opened them, I saw Hongjoong sitting on his bed, legs cross-legged and arms in front of his chest, looking at me from above as I lay curled up on his bedside rug, yet I didn't freeze as there was a blanket on top of me and a pillow underneath me.
"I'm sorry I jumped you like that, but I was in an emergency situation." I explained and he sighed.
"I can see that... I've never seen witches, nymphs and vampire magic intertwined like that." he said shaking his head.
"What, vampires have magic?" I asked, irritated.
"They're just as magical creatures as everyone else here. Of course they have magic too, even if they can't cast spells like that, it's always there." he said and I listened.
"So... there's something we can do to separate our spells?" I wanted to know and he nodded slightly.
"Yes, there is a solution, but there is no guarantee that it will work. You belong together through the covenant, but since you refuse, you're only making things worse." he said, which almost upset me.
"You know about this? " I asked, confused.
"Your aura shines brighter than moonlight. I can cast a spell on you to break the bonds... but as I said, there is no...." as I realized his words, I interrupted him.
"How can you see my aura, that's part of the spell that hid me?" I jumped up a little too quickly and staggered to the mirror he had hanging on the wall above a chest of drawers. Sure enough, I saw the soft glow that surrounded me
"That could mean one of two things... either you now have a shared aura as a result of all the closeness and shared emotions... or..." he paused meaningfully.
"Or?" I asked impatiently.
"Or the spell that surrounds you is crumbling and about to dissolve..." he considered.
"The Queen's spell... my mother's..." I said almost reverently, to which he smiled.
"I figured as much... you look like her... but without proof, I didn't want to speculate. I'll let Chan know I'm not coming into work today, then we can play around until we get to the bottom of everything."
