Hidden Moon (OT7xReader)

With a pained howl, the wolf that was about to attack on me from the right fell to the ground at my feet, a throwing star lodged in its throat, blood flowing onto the rocky ground. The massive creature transformed back into the man he once was just moments before his death. I only spared him a second's glance before turning my attention back to the wolf in front of me, striking it with my whip. From the corner of my eye, I saw Jungkook tear open the left wolf's jugular vein with his claws, dropping it and disgustedly spitting out its blood.

"No further steps, Alpha... or do you want to die like your best warriors here?" I asked the towering wolf menacingly as it growled threateningly at the egg. It took a step back and transformed, standing naked before us and glaring at me angrily.

"Vampire..." he spat out the word as if it were an insult.

"What? Are you scared? Do you want to pee your pants? Oh wait, you can't be, since you're not wearing any pants," I smirked triumphantly.

"What do you want with the dragon? Aren't they your enemies too? Let's kill it together," he tried to persuade me.

"Why should I kill an innocent dragon who has done no harm? My vengeance will not be directed towards it... but you... you were at the forefront when it came to annihilating vampires... Is that all Lycans are capable of? Cowardly ambushes? Killing unarmed women and children? Destroying eggs before they can hatch? Don't delude yourself, I will kill you with my own hands," I promised him, seeing fear in his eyes.

"Um... I just wanted to mention..." I heard someone speak up, but the Lycan continued talking.

"And why am I still standing here if you want to kill me? What do you want?" he asked me, but was promptly pushed over the edge of the cliff.

"Oops... I didn't know I was already this strong... but he shouldn't have interrupted me," came a voice from the small blue dragon, who was now testing his wings by flapping them. I hadn't even noticed that he had hatched during the conversation with the Lycan Alpha. He flew at eye level with me and cautiously sniffed me before settling on my shoulder and rubbing his head against me.

"Chosen one," he said softly, lifting his head and wiggling his nostrils as he looked at Jungkook.

"Another one," the little creature squeaked happily.

"Why can you already talk?" Jungkook asked in surprise, and the dragon chuckled amusedly.

"Don't you learn anything about other races in school?" he asked.

"Dragons are born with consciousness and the knowledge of their ancestors," I explained, and the little one nodded eagerly.

"You see, vampires are much more educated than fairies," he praised me, and I giggled while Jungkook pouted.

"We should go to Jin and the red egg before more wolves show up he said, sounding a bit offended. But the dragon flew over to Jungkook and rubbed his head against him, immediately causing a blissful smile to appear on the fairy's face. 

"Your name is Jungkook, right? Can I call you Kookie? I'm Namjoon, but you can call me Joonie too," he suggested. 

"Sure." His cute bunny teeth showed as he replied to the little one. 

"Thank you for keeping my siblings safe. My sister will lead the dragons well while I'm away, and my brother will stay with us. He will protect you just like I would," Namjoon explained.

"Do you want to fly yourself, or should I carry you while running down the mountain in vampire speed?" I asked the little one, and he immediately jumped into my arms. As I ran down the mountain, I chuckled because he kept shouting "Whee!" I knew that he would wake up tomorrow as a fully grown dragon, but today he was just a little child... albeit one who was smarter and wiser than all of us combined, but still...

"Joonie!" we heard someone shout loudly as we passed through the barrier, and a red dragon zoomed towards us. 

"Mingi!" the blue dragon called out, and they embraced each other with their bodies... it looked so cute, like Yin and Yang... just in blue and red...

"Oh well, now I'm being ignored," Jin pouted as he came over to me and assessed me, making sure I was still in one piece. He did the same with Jungkook and then smiled in relief. 

"Let's go home... the little ones should go to bed. That was enough excitement for today..."
