"If Mingi got through it so well, then Namjoon will too," Jin assumed and I agreed with him, we would start the transformation today. Namjoon, who walked back to the room with us, smiled at the statement. I found it fascinating how much he wanted to be transformed and, of course, I was secretly pleased. With each new member of a different race in the covenant, with each new turned race, the strength of the vampires increased, bringing me closer to achieving my goal of uniting the races under the leadership of the vampires and punishing the ruling families who had betrayed us. Thanks to the new perspective Jin and the other two had given me, it was unnecessary to punish my companions as well, I found it hard to hate even one of them as it was, but all of them? I wasn't that strong, I would rather give myself fully to the covenant... but I still didn't know how I was supposed to shed almost 60 years of cold behavior so quickly... but I could try... the boys deserved it. They were on my side, they weren't my enemies.

"So you're changing me now?" Namjoon asked excitedly and I nodded.

"But not in my room... my bed is so nice and big and comfortable..." I confirmed and heard Jin giggle.

"But sooner or later, we'll need a bigger one..." he said, amused.

"But that's still 20 - 25 years away... The elf queen is only just pregnant and the others don't have a son in sight yet either..." I considered.

"Do you think Jungkook can sense all the others?" Jin asked hopefully.

"Fairies have the gift of clairvoyance, they just didn't use it much and so it's atrophied more and more... but Jungkook got a boost to his powers when he was transformed. On top of that, we all share a connection even before we bond, so I'm sure he senses everyone. We become stronger through the gift of vampirism. Thousands of years ago, it was an honor to be turned, as vampires preferred to bond with each other, and so it remained until the approaching extinction... only now are you turning again and I think... that is one of the reasons why the Lycans incited the other races... not only because they feared your strength, but also because they hoped to gain more power by transforming... if they came to power, they could force you." Namjoon explained and I frowned.

"I will have it forbidden by law to change even one Lycan." I said angrily, but Jin cleared his throat.

"My queen... You will have to change one." he reminded me gently and I pressed my lips together unwillingly. This was going against the grain again. I had just been sure that I would accept my companions without ifs and buts, when the realization hit me that there was a Lycan among them. An uneasy feeling spread through my stomach, would I be able to exclude him without jeopardizing our plan? I didn't want him in the covenant.

"I know what you're thinking, but our bond has to be complete." Namjoon said, taking my hand in encouragement... hopefully the alpha didn't have any male pups in his bloodline for a long time.

"I'll get Jungkook and you two go ahead to one of the guest rooms... you know, the one with the weird four-poster bed... I've been wanting to get rid of that for a long time, it can go up in smoke and ashes." Jin smiled cheerfully before continuing to walk to our room.

We reached the room in question and Namjoon, who I had found to be rather reserved until now, sat down on the admittedly really ugly four-poster bed and pulled me onto his lap, where he wrapped his arms around me possessively and placed his lips on mine. I opened my eyes in surprise before melting them shut and enjoying the dragon's kiss in amazement. In his human form he was so cute and a little clumsy, whereas in dragon form he was noble and elegant, but right now he was kissing me with a naturalness, radiating power and dominance, but at the same time he was so gentle and careful, as if I were his most precious possession. And although I was always the one in charge, I was like putty in his hands without feeling inferior...

It's so unusual to have so few readers here, because I'm still at the beginning... in my original account there are always hundreds of people waiting for a new chapter, while here I think, oh I have to upload, there are 2-3 people waiting in 2-3 continents :D and I'm so happy about every new reader who makes my card in the stats bluer. If you notice anything that doesn't translate so well, please let me know. I use a program to translate and I don't trust myself to recognize grammatical errors because I always overthink everything anyway and then everything looks wrong to me^^ so please let me know, cause english is just my third language... i hope you enjoy reading my stories and i would be happy about some comments from time to time
