Hoseok PoV

I stood patiently in the hallway outside Seonghwa's room, a few meters away so that I could give the two of them some privacy. Sighing, I looked out the large arched window that faced the outside of the castle where I could overlook the forest, admiring the soft flickering of the protective dome. It looked really beautiful, the rainbow light effect made me see different colors depending on which angle I looked at. I knew that such magic could not exist from one tribe alone, the rainbow effects also pointed to that. Eventually I would study the protective dome and its magic, but first I had to get clarity, because how could I expect them to trust me with their protection if I didn't trust them? Yet I wanted to... I wanted to trust them, I wanted to belong to them... I wanted to lose myself completely in this soul bond and be picked up again. Every time I felt Jimin and Y/N, when I saw the others, all the love... the feeling of belonging to each other. I felt it, deep inside me, but the nagging doubt that had arisen because of my mother... I had never met her, she had done all this to protect me, but from what exactly? The answers lay in my home and I had to get them, I couldn't wait any longer. My insides were so torn apart, the pain was physically and emotionally unbearable. While I was thinking, the door opened audibly behind me and Hongjoong and Seonghwa stepped out. They were both smiling and holding hands, looking so cute with their red cheeks.

"Joongie told me everything, Uncle Hobi.... I'm flying with you to your home." the dragon explained, Hongjoong grinning like crazy when Seonghwa called him Joongie.

"Uncle?" I asked, confused, and he giggled.

"Well, you're Uncle Namjoon's companion... so you're my uncle too." he explained.

"I'm not anyone's companion yet." I said.

"You have been since birth... You're the companion of Aunt Y/N, Uncle Jin, Uncle Yoongi, Uncle Namjoon, Uncle Jimin, Uncle Taehyung and Uncle Jungkook." he pointed out and I stumbled.

"Who's Yoongi again?" I asked, irritated.

"Oh, he's not even born yet... it'll take some time... but you'll love him very much one day." he replied with a smile and once again I was amazed at how much dragons actually knew... about past and future events. But I didn't want to think about companions that hadn't been born yet, because I had to think about the ones that were already there.

"Ok... Let's get going..." I suggested and they both nodded. We walked to the balcony outside Seonghwa's room and he transformed into one of the most impressive beings I had ever seen. The gentleness he already had in his eyes was intensified in this form and he looked anything but dangerous. He bent down and let us sit on his back. As soon as we were seated, he took off. Hongjoong snuggled up to the dragon with a happy smile on his lips, while I looked at the area we were flying through. A sudden roar from the dragon and a hyena-like laugh made me look back to where Yeosang had just flown in, with a visibly delighted Wooyoung on his back.

"What are you two doing here?" Seonghwa wanted to know when they had opened up and flew next to us.

"I'm not letting you go there alone... Besides, there's someone we have to pick up," explained the other dragon.

"Do you think it could be dangerous?" I asked and he nodded slightly.

"Don't worry, Appa... I'll take care of you came from Yeosang and it warmed my heart when he called me that...
